La Amarilla Estupenda!

La Amarilla Seems like a hole in the wall and nothing fancy from the outside and when you go in but if you ask for "la Comida" you will be directed to the back staircase up into the low ceiling dinning room....there it starts! Ok, this is one of the places to do a food Pit stop in Burgos...our... read more

We were a group of 6 adults and 3 children and did not let us choose anything out from the daily menu. We finally managed to ask for some croquettes for the kids, and they overprized it a lot (5.50€ for 3 croquettes)! But they worst part was when they brought the bill without having finished eating (nor us or... More

This is my favourite place for bravas in Burgos. Try its famous spicy home made chips and you won't forget them. Family run, very friendly and will not try to rip you off. They are so nice with everyone that you will come back for sure. They also have great tapas and very good meals.

Decided to stop of in Burgos as I had never seen it before, went to the number one restaurant and this place was just across the street! Everything we had was delicious, but the morcilla was amazing. We both went for the lamb and I am so glad we did, it was so succulent and tasty! The home made natillas... More

We stopped in for a late night drink of champagne and he opened a bottle and gave us 2glasses...most other places were only offering bottles. We went back to eat the next night. Really good tapas choices and enjoyed watching the wife as chef.

Family run, very friendly and accommodating, will not try to rip you off, generous with portions and wine. Great paella, and great tapas for the price

We went here twice during our stay in Burgos. Once for the lunch "menu del dia" and once for Pintxos in the evening. The staff is very friendly in general. At the lunch menu del dia we found thema bit pushy with the order, even though we were the first guests in. The menu del dia was ok, but nothing... More

We happened to enter this restaurant among a plethora of other offerings, as both the menu posted outside (12 euro including a bottle of wine for 2) and the crowds inside attracted us. Downstairs is the typical drinks and tapas space, with loads of people enjoying themselves - what surprised us was that we got the last table at the... More

We went down this street looking for another highly reviewed restaurant, but ended up here after looking at both of the menus. It was a great decision. There is a bar downstairs and a dining room upstairs. We had a variety of foods-asparagus, seafood croquetas, sopa castellano, and veal with mushrooms. Desserts were a tiramisu tart and natillas (custard). The... More

This bar is always packed with local customers. It offers tapas and racion(a la carte) according to your choice & budget. Try "Gambas a la plancha"(panfried fresh prawns).
