Food served in bowls of grease, "barbecued "chorizo was simply microwaved. Grossly undercooked fillet mignon, greasy soggy chips, meal very politely sent back to kitchen, was returned to me still inedibly raw and I was still expected to pay for a meal I was only able to eat a few bites of. Staff could not care less as customers would... More

Came in late on a Wednesday night, around 10:30. One other party there. Service was great, price low (31 euros for 2). Fodd was terrific. Highly recommend. Pretty fancy, not like most of the pinxhos bars. But not too much. Felt comfortable in jeans.

We were spending just one night in Burgos on our way from England to Spain and travelling with our 2 small dogs. We asked (if you don't ask...you don't get!) if we could eat inside in the bar area which was empty (although the restaurant was full) with the pups and they kindly agreed. The pups sat quietly under the... More

As I had a dog with me I couldn’t get into restaurants I wanted to because they were either too full or didn’t allow dogs so I ended up sitting outside a place in a nice spot I assumed was going to be very touristy/plain food. Wrong. The food was very good regional food and came in generous portions and... More

Forget the view, you can get almost the same view from all of the restaurants on the square. Focus on the food and the service. The food is bland and uninteresting. The service stinks. The prices are high! Why waste your money?

Not much to add to the previous reviews. The view of the cathedral is magnificent, and it is a very pleasant terrace. The food: very soso... The cod was cooked to pieces, the fried patatoes too greacy.... Service matched the food.... If you need to ea AND want to have a great view, then go here. If you want good... More

Well, I think my title sums it up really. The place has a privileged position on the square with views of the cathedral. But the chorizo and black pudding (specialities of the area) were average and very very badly presented. The slow roasted lamb was dry. The tiramisu type desert used processed whipped 'cream' and had no taste. But to... More

Very nice restaurant close to the cathedral. We had a huge paella which was enough for 3 people, a salad, wine and coffee for EUR 45 wich was good value for money considering the quality of the food and service.

In an excellent location opposite the cathedral. Very nice dining room at the back. Unfortunately we were not offered the menu del dia as other diners were and although what we ordered was very good, it was very expensive compared to other restaurants. Ask to see all menu options.

It was a Monday and most restaurants were closed. We asked a staff member at our hotel, Meson del Cid for a recommendation. We walked a few minutes out to the square until we found this gem. At first we thought it was merely a cafeteria, but the dining room in the back proved us wrong. The food, service and... More
