After travelling for 3,5 weeks through the northern part of Spain and visting dozens of tapasbars Favorita is our favorite! Delicious food at the bar, little grumpy barmen, but overall great!

Average food, poor value for money, average interior, average waiters. There are many better places to eat in Burgos.

I went here twice who I was in Burgos. The first time was as part of a gastronomical tour of the city. On the tour I received a red pepper ice cream in olive oil soup, it was fantastic. On an other night I started my own little tapas crawl, I had three here as I kept enjoying them. Beer... More

Very busy place, but it is worth the wait. We had the house specialty, Anchovies, and it is nothing like the anchovies we get in the states. These anchovies are fresh and taste so good! Stand at the bar and point or ask others for help in ordering, we found people to be very helpful and friendly here helping us... More

I was in Burgos on business. Had dinner there with one collegue living in town. What a place he bought me in! We did not have tapas and went directly in the restaurant hall. We started with ham and grilled octopuss. Then a big steak shared for the two of us. It was all outstanding, with a very nice wine... More

Lively. Efficient, friendly staff. Casual and easy. Nice choice of tapas style dishes as well as more substantial meals. Had the best roasted monkfish tail (for two) ever - really superb. Wines by the glass could be more upmarket. Prices fine... A good find.... Not touristy!

We made a lunchtime stop at this bar/restaurant and it was a good choice. A nice, casual place with friendly service and it was pretty busy throughout the lunch time. There is a good choice of wines by the glass at very good prices and a decent selection of tapas and small plates. I can totally recommend the Cecina de... More

Amazing atmostsphere in the front bar area - want some life in your evening and great food - right place. Much quieter in atmostphere are the rooms at the back - in fact almost dead midweek - so if you plan to go then make sure you bring your own fun, or head to the front. Food and wine were... More

La favorita is always crowded but the staff is incredubly able to serve your choice very quickly. They won a proze to the best tapa in Spain: anchovies. They have some wonderful choices and I could not recommend nothing but all of them. Maybe the Solomillo with foie canape if you are not on a diet. Try to show up... More

This is the place to go for a drink in a happening spot. It's absolutely PACKED in the evening's...and as a result the service suffers. The bar is gorgeous, but the food doesn't really live up to the surroundings. The waiters and barmen are charming and friendly, they just have too many people to handle. Still, it's a fun place...
