We were seated at a window overlooking the catedrale, waited on with patience and friendliness. The resturante is well appointed, very comfortable, and we enjoyed it very much. 5 of us went. 3 had the 25.50 menu. Burgo black pudding was dissapointing. I had better for e1.50 10k back on the camino in a roadside cafe.Good supply of lamb. Homemade cheese and honey dessert was not great. It was like cream out of an aerosol can. Biga red wine crianza 2011 was very good at e13.60. Had to... More

It wasn't so much the food that was different but the way it was presented and prepared. We only sampled the appetisers for our lunch . We all had something different so that we could all try but sometimes it was hard to part with our plates. I had a dish with aubergines and goats cheese. It had a delicious... More

The restaurant offered several menu options, including several very cheap ones. We went for the la carte fine dining and did not regret it. Located just next to the magnificent cathedral, the a la carte had many interesting options, it was really hard to select a dish as everything sounded so nice. The food was amazing, the service was exceptional,... More

Very good menu of local foods. You can get a very comprehesive feel of local cuisine with one dinner. Good service with professional wine suggestions. Exceptionally good wine list for Burgos restaurants. Unfortunately I had time only for one visit.

Ate here with a group of friends after reading an article about the restaurant in the British press. All the starters were excellent - in particular the white asparagus. Mains on the whole were very good though two people who had the baby lamb were disappointed. Good selection of decent wines, service was fine - it appears to be a... More

Three of us ate here. I was amazed and delighted that when I mentioned I had celiac, our waiter immediately brought out the gluten free menu and almost everything on the regular menu appeared on the gluten free one. Our waiter was excellent. When he brought out bread for us, he brought a separate small French loaf for me which... More

On our way to Bilbao it wouldn’t cross our mind not to stop in this year’s Spanish Gastronomic Capital – Burgos. We made our way to the number 24 in Calle Paloma. Finding comfort under the shade of an umbrella and the freshness of a very well poured caña, the repast began. First things first, we were greeted with some... More

We really enjoyed the modern spanish food, espacialy the slowly cooked pig was delicious. The winelist offers a nice selection of spanish wine. We chose the Priorat, definately to be recommended. The setting of the terrace misses a bit of atmosphere and would definately benefit from an upgrade. Not the cheapest in town, but price/value very good.
