Don't pass Burgos!!

Got off the ferry late and drove three hours to Burgos. What a lovely Spanish gem. It was chilly and foggy but that couldn't spoil the beauty of the town. We headed for the restaurant and although it was late ,1045pm, the staff were very welcoming. We opted for the taster menu and were rewarded by... read more

We had an excellent experience in this restaurant. We chose the tasting menu (you need to all agree on the table on the meals)and we were not disappointed. Food was tasty and original, service was fast (somehow too fast as there was very few people) and very polite. Prices were high but reasonable for the quality

Discovered this place a few years back very randomly, and every visit since has been a delight. The degustation menu is lush, and ridiculously affordable. I also like the fact you can choose what it'll include or leave it to the chef. Wine selection is great, and service is friendly with a smile. What more do you want

It was raining and we were wandering around the center, trying to find a place for lunch. After some hesitation we decided to give it a try. Last table available. The service was charming. The decoration is a mix of modern and rustic. Then the menu, everything looked interesting a mix of classic Castilian cuisine with modern combinations. We tried... More

We were particularly impressed that the waitress did not try to point us towards the very expensive wines but made a recommendation for a reasonably priced and delicious local Tempranillo. Highlights of the menu included the grilled lamb - a speciality of the area, and oxtail.

We arrived in Burgos late after a long day's travel. Two of the women in our group of four were vegetarian and were feeling frustrated by the lack of potential for a meal. We found El 24 because the waiter was kind when we asked for help. He was outstanding -- went out of his way to find good things... More

We had lunch here today, thanks to TA recommendations. We chose the tasting menu for 37Euros each plus drinks. It was interesting, beautifully presented and quite delicious. We were seated at a window overlooking the catedrale, waited on with patience and friendliness. The resturante is well appointed, very comfortable, and we enjoyed it very much. We ate: chestnut soup, morcilla(... More

5 of us went. 3 had the 25.50 menu. Burgo black pudding was dissapointing. I had better for e1.50 10k back on the camino in a roadside cafe.Good supply of lamb. Homemade cheese and honey dessert was not great. It was like cream out of an aerosol can. Biga red wine crianza 2011 was very good at e13.60. Had to... More

It wasn't so much the food that was different but the way it was presented and prepared. We only sampled the appetisers for our lunch . We all had something different so that we could all try but sometimes it was hard to part with our plates. I had a dish with aubergines and goats cheese. It had a delicious... More

The restaurant offered several menu options, including several very cheap ones. We went for the la carte fine dining and did not regret it. Located just next to the magnificent cathedral, the a la carte had many interesting options, it was really hard to select a dish as everything sounded so nice. The food was amazing, the service was exceptional,... More
