We found this fantastic local "Cerveceria" on our second day in Burgos and over the course of the next 2 days we eat/drank in it 3 times. We sampled tapas/bocadillos, shared main courses downstairs in the bar and a full 3 course meal upstairs. All meals we picked were top quality, generous portions and we enjoyed them with good sangria... More

I passed on the food, but the wine and the cañas were great and quickly served. I will say that part of my rating is based on the wait staff, who remembered me over my 3 day stay.

Always crowded, you can reach the tables upstairs wich you share with others. Ask for the regular spanish tapas wich are well made, but regular sandwin=ches y food plates are not so worthy. Slow servie.

We had lunch consisting of bocadillos (open sandwiches), a salad, and wine. First glass of wine was not great, possibly last night's bottle since we were in early. 2nd glass better. Chicken bocadillo was good, but the ham one used what we would call "plastic" ham. Calarmares salad was edible except for a small bit of plastic packaging entwined therein!... More

We have been walking the Camino de Santiago and have been eating at a wide range of restaurants. This one is right up amongst the very best. Friendly staff, well attended by the locals, and superb food. Prices are quite reasonable. We speak very little Spanish yet still managed to get by.

This place is definitely popular, downstairs was full, but they were just starting to show people to the upstairs room when we arrived. There is an excellent choice on the menu of tapas, salads, combined plates - all at very reasonable prices. We made the mistake of ordering too much food! A combined plate is enough for two. I very... More

Arrive early to avoid the wait because this bar is well loved by locals and tourists alike. Serving up flavourful simple bar food at very reasonable prices, the portions are generous, staff very helpful and the atmosphere buzzing. Worth noting that they don't accept credit cards, and on busy days you will be expected to share a table to keep... More
