I thought this place was overrated. Staff inattentive. Food well presented but just ok. Shared tables not my thing. Try Ojeda instead!

We were lucky enough to arrive at the right time to pinch a table at Morito and we're so glad we did. Envious glances from the late comers confirmed we'd picked the right place and everything else backed this up. It is, to use an English phrase, always mobbed here and you can hardly move. Our bar lady (Bianca?) was... More

The Morito is an institute, so everybody comes in. Not easy to find a place. The interior is very old and original. We went to the 1. floor and get a nice table. Downstairs always full. The food was very good with large portions. The waitress warned us not to order too much. Very kind and efficient staf. The menu... More

We ate here on our 2nd night on a Camino break with others that we met on the Camino and it was a gem. The good was lovely & the staff were very helpful when I had no Spanish. The sangria was delicious & the atmosphere was great. A mix of locals & Camino pilgrims, the place was very busy.... More

We had a wonderful meal here. We arrived early to get a table, and were treated to excellent service. We ordered several different plates to share, and the portions were very generous. I loved the salad and shrimp, and the meat eaters liked the pork and jamon dishes. Red and white wine were good. It was a great experience.

We only spent one night in Burgos and tried this place purely on previous reviews on Tripadvisor. It was not open at lunchtime and we think it opens around 2000 in the evening. As others have said, get there early, we arrived at 2040 got a table very easily in the downstairs section but by 2100 it was just rammed... More

Cerveceria Morito is a very popular place, so if you want to try this, make sure you're early enough as it fills up quickly. The food is good, and the portions are massive (1 portion a person is plenty). Most of the plates are quite heavy and greasy though (as they are meant to be) so keep that in mind,... More

We decided to visit here after reading the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor, and we were not disappointed! We arrived about 8pm which is early to eat in Spain but the ground floor was already full. However a very friendly waitress took us upstairs to a table. Within 15mins the place was full. We were the only English but didn't... More
