Great range of tapas available. We wish we weren't as full as the dishes coming out looked amazing! The bar was buzzing and there was hardly any room at the bar. There was also an upstairs with table service, although there was quite a queue for this. 100% recommend!

Traveled as part of an Intrepid Group in Oct 2013, after walking through the old town area, the meal, service and atmosphere made for a great end to a great day. Staff were excellent the food was pretty good. Definitely worth the visit. Reasonably priced as well.

The small crowded upstairs dining room so busy that you have to share tables is rather offputting at first but you quickly forget that and the lack of AC when the food arrives. Some of the best tapas I have had in Spain, with friendly helpful waitresses ready to advise you on your choice. Recommend Lagrimas del Moro (lightly battered... More

A great tapas restaurant in Burgos. I tried the delicious blood and rice sausage, a local delicacy, amazingly cheap and tasty wine for 0.50€ (glass) and other excellent tapas’ dishes. Great value for money for such quality food. Going to this restaurant was another great experience in the lovely town of Burgos.

Noisy, youthful crowd. seemingly all Spanish tourists. Very busy, amazing staff. Excellent, generous, inexpensive.

Very good value for money. Portions are huge and we couldn't finish the meal. It was a long wait for the table, but apart from that it was excellent. They don't take card, it was inconvenient but not a big problem. Everyone who comes to Burgos should try this place.

We came at around 8.30pm and already very crowded. I don't know whether it was Saturday night or has always been like this but we're very lucky to find a table in short time considering how packed this place is. The service was fast and they served excellent "morcilla". It's the best and all the food & wine we had... More

This is an incredible place for tapas and raciones. I love the alparagatas ( Jason Serrano on top of tomato toasts) the huevos estrellados are incredible.

El Morito is very close to the Cathedral so I thought it would be tourist prices. Thankfully it has stuck to the Spanish tradition of turning the tapas out quickly and keeping its prices competitive. We enjoyed it so much we went Sun evening and Monday lunch, go early so as to get either a table or stools at the... More

the key is to go early! first time we went for dinner at 9pm, restaurant was full, and has 10 parties on waiting list. Bar is full, difficult to move. So we decided to revisit next day for lunch. And we went early, 1pm, Glad we did! In general, everything we had here tasted good, so i encourage you to... More
