Although I haven't been to that many restaurants in Burgos, I´m pretty sure Cerveceria Morito is one of the best. I mean I haven't been to others, mostly because I prefer to try something new (or same good old food) at Morito.

The portions are huge, the food is outstanding, the prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere is very special. Order the Cheese Salad, it's much more special than the name suggests. Have a glass of the Ribera del Duero and order a plate of morcilla, and you'll leave with a happy tummy.

We've eaten here three times and all have been memorable. There's an excellent range of tapas, all of substantial quantities (and staff are kind enough to point out that you might be ordering too much). Presentation of the food is also lovely - the mixed salad was a work of art! It's a busy, friendly place with a predominantly Spanish... More

We arrived tired and late and just got a shared (large table and not disagreeable) table in the upstairs restaurante. The service was brilliant and the food delicious. We over ordered 3 media raciones for 2 was too much, yet they were all delicious. Plus 2x generous glasses of house red and white each the bill was a v reasonable... More

What a find. This place is well worth a visit when in Burgos. A small bar with a great atmosphere. If you want a table get there early. This place packs later in the evening. We have a beer, sangria the traditional blood sausage dish and a plate of the jam on for a total price of 13.50 euro. The... More

Great range of tapas available. We wish we weren't as full as the dishes coming out looked amazing! The bar was buzzing and there was hardly any room at the bar. There was also an upstairs with table service, although there was quite a queue for this. 100% recommend!

Traveled as part of an Intrepid Group in Oct 2013, after walking through the old town area, the meal, service and atmosphere made for a great end to a great day. Staff were excellent the food was pretty good. Definitely worth the visit. Reasonably priced as well.

The small crowded upstairs dining room so busy that you have to share tables is rather offputting at first but you quickly forget that and the lack of AC when the food arrives. Some of the best tapas I have had in Spain, with friendly helpful waitresses ready to advise you on your choice. Recommend Lagrimas del Moro (lightly battered... More

A great tapas restaurant in Burgos. I tried the delicious blood and rice sausage, a local delicacy, amazingly cheap and tasty wine for 0.50€ (glass) and other excellent tapas’ dishes. Great value for money for such quality food. Going to this restaurant was another great experience in the lovely town of Burgos.

Noisy, youthful crowd. seemingly all Spanish tourists. Very busy, amazing staff. Excellent, generous, inexpensive.
