Finding Restaurante Aldofo (an old Jewish house from before the 10th Century located right off Comercio Street behind the Cathedral in a tiny alley) you are rewarded with a wonderful dining experience. A multilevel building includes rooms/suites (9) and a restaurant. The decor: charming & elegant featuring a painting of the Duchess of Alba, tables beautifully set. All our dining... More

After five weeks of travel and dozens of meals in restaurants this summer, dinner at Adolfo stands apart as easily the most unpleasant. The food is good, but unexceptional. We had the young pig and the partridge. Each was well prepared and tasty, but not nearly up to the pretension of the restaurant. The room is elegant but stuffy in... More

What can one say about a business so carefully cared for by a whole family? The minute you walk in you know you are in s special place. The food and presentation, the wines (and Adolfo's own, Pago del Ama, is worth every Euro), the personal care, make the experience unforgettable. Gracias Adolfo, Julita, Verónica, todos ... esperamos poder volver... More

Was very fortunate to have had this restaurant referred to us by American Express Concierge Service. The upstairs dining room is very elegant without being stuffy, which is how one could sum up the whole dining experience. Really delicious food, all our dishes (we were 3) were tasty and well prepared. In addition, our servers were capable, caring and charming,... More

My second time back to this wonderful restaurant and once again I was not disappointed! New decor but still the same world class meal that one would expect from Adolfo. Experience the Greco tasting menu and you will not be disappointed! Sea bass tartare, truffle ice cream, strawberry gazpacho, it's a foodie's heaven! The wait staff is amazing and this... More

Adolfo has been around for a very long time - too long in that they strive to be upscale and gourmet, but are resting too much on their laurels - things need to be freshened up. The service is not top notch as several of the servers are novices and the head waiter, very much a task master, was training... More

I had the $15 for 3 course/coffee and hubby had the $18 for 5 tapas and 2 wines. Good value. Food wasn't too bad but not the best we've had. This restaurant is next to Sercotel where we stayed. So this was very convenient. There wasn't too many to choose from in Old Town Toledo around where we stayed so... More

I have been visiting Adolfo and his offshoot restaurants run by his close family for years. He is a legend BUT never rests on his laurels. Food is utterly superb & quality/price ratio is excellent. Quite the best partridge I have ever eaten & the dessert a subtle twist on marzipan and flan really, really , really delicious. The Duchess... More

This restaurant is located behind the Cathedral. There is a large patio which is covered with a glass ceiling that allows a lot of light into the restaurant. The restaurant is very elegant and there is a large painting of the Duchess of Alba. The restaurant costs about 50 euros per person and is worth it. The food is excellent... More
