Located at Plaza San Nicolas, this modern-looking restaurant that is dimly lit has the coolest basement – literally brick / stone lined rooms with arched brick ceilings. Colored lighting adds to the charm. Had a combo dinner with croquettes, partridge salad, pate and cheese. Entrée of cod and venison, and then finished with an assortment of pastries. Small portions but... More

Quirky little place, like lots of little caves together. Cod starter lovely, rest of meal and service okay. A bit noisy after a family with small children arrived- even though they were not near us, sound travels down there.

We stopped in for a quick lunch. The fried egg ham and chips was very tasty --- as was the 3 different types of stews.

this restaurant was recommended by the hotel staff. The description: Completely booked at lunch time, the earliest reservation was at 8:30pm for dinner. Which is early dinning time here in Spain. We booked it knowing that the next one wouldn't be until 11pm. The staff was VERY nice and courteous, from the reception is to our waitress Beatriz. Party of... More

We got the menu del día, which was not great. The red wine was served chilled. For a starter everyone at my table got the pisto with a poached egg and a sort of bacon-like meat. The pisto was served lukewarm, the egg was a bit underdone and the ham was over salted. I got "cordero" (lamb) for the main... More

We went there this afternoon for a late lunch. We were attracted by their set lunch in the entrance. However, after we looked at the menu, there is a tapas (for two persons) more attractive. We ordered that all-in-one tapa and 2 German bottle beer. The food is very good, probably we were hungry. It only costed us 27 euro.... More

We visited on a Thursday evening, and the place was nicely busy without being completely full. It's a deceptively large venue though, with a few different floors split off into smaller rooms. Unfortunately we ended up in a room with only one other table occupied, which turned a busy fun atmosphere into a very quiet one! The waiting staff didn't... More

Hard to say much positive about this place. We were there at about 8.30 and of course no Spanish person would dream of eating their dinner at such an early hour so we were marked out as not local and were treated as such. Anyway the food was really not worthy of comment unless you are a big fan of oily... More

This restaurant is a gem of a place. Basically the bulk of the restaurant is built in an underground cave. You can see some of the original rock in places but they have capitalized on the location by placing many of the tables into little "caves" themselves. We had tapas of croquettes, bread and vegetables. Then we had an array... More
