We went early on a Saturday lunchtime (1.30 isn) and it was already crowded but we were lucky and found a table. We were a bit cramped but it was fine for us. This was the best meal of the weekend; every dish of tapas was exceptional. I can really recommend the meatballs to dip in cheese fondue, the croquettes,... More

Go early and have a beer because the restaurant fills fast and doesn't take reservations. Wonderful food ... We had sampler of 4 tapas and the pheasant stew and 3 of us were stuffed ... No dessert for us. Lovely service and good prices.

We went hereafter we couldn't get into Alfilerotos 24. This is not the place for a quiet meal. Primarily young people having a Tapas party. That said, the food was good the value was good. And the server was most helpful and everyone is having a great time.

There is a bar upstairs, but we ate in a kind of basement grotto which was nicely decorated. There were four of us and we all had prix fixe meals. The food was good, if not spectacular, and I think that the price was a bargain. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

We went there for dinner. It seems to be popular for tapas, but dinner was not a highlight. My husband ordered the suckling pig, as did one of the others in our party, and he was not only disappointed, but he was mad. Its hard to believe they would actually serve this, especially for €15. It was a small portion... More

Went here 3 or 4 time while my month of study in Toledo. The best beer and tapas in my opinion. My tapas were hot and very tasty and the redhead bartender was very helpful. Do not miss! Try beer and Tapas!

Nice building shame about the food. We ordered a 'degustation' 4 tapas nothing special and tepid...doubt if they had left them in the microwave long enough! I wonder if there is an equivalent 3663 or Brakes food companies in Spain

A group of friends and I went there as it was highly recommended by a lot of locals. Food was miserable and cold. My wife and I ordered the suckling pig. Tasted horrible and smelled funny. We were up the whole night vomiting. Trust me this place is not worth it at all! The website makes it look amazing and... More

My girlfriend and I wanted to have a very nice dinner as we were leaving the following morning. To start with, the service was very poor, not even a smile. We ordered a wild boar starter, vegetables with truffle oil as a side and pork fillets for the main course, all to share. Plus sangria. Our side arrived about 10... More

I visited La Abadia in September 2011 with 3 friends and we found the La Abadia most interesting and fascinating.
