We visited on a Thursday evening, and the place was nicely busy without being completely full. It's a deceptively large venue though, with a few different floors split off into smaller rooms. Unfortunately we ended up in a room with only one other table occupied, which turned a busy fun atmosphere into a very quiet one! The waiting staff didn't... More

Hard to say much positive about this place. We were there at about 8.30 and of course no Spanish person would dream of eating their dinner at such an early hour so we were marked out as not local and were treated as such. Anyway the food was really not worthy of comment unless you are a big fan of oily... More

This restaurant is a gem of a place. Basically the bulk of the restaurant is built in an underground cave. You can see some of the original rock in places but they have capitalized on the location by placing many of the tables into little "caves" themselves. We had tapas of croquettes, bread and vegetables. Then we had an array... More

Real cute restaurant with typical Toledo dishes! Both seafood and meat was great! Try not to miss the Ciervo dish (I think it is venison in English), super! Octopus was so fresh too and all tapas we had were just good. the restaurant was full so we sat at the bar and service was very friendly! We had a carafe... More

Beautiful restaurant with lots of small dining rooms downstairs that allow you to have dinner inside a medieval environment. Outstanding staff. Food is very tasty - we chose tapas to share and we definitely didn't regret of our choice as each one costs around €6 and can be easily shared among 2 people. Prices are average - except to pay... After a 5 minute wait with my party of 6 we were led through to the back of the restaurant which was tastefully decorated with a good atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient and the food was excellent - the venison is thoroughly recommended!

Abadia was recommended to us by hotel receptionist. Restaurant is not hard to find in the center of old Toledo and looks nice. Restaurant is in fact in a basement. We had great meal, recommended by the waiter like house specialties also wine and it was fairly priced. If in Toledo, would gladly return to La Abadia.

Great meats and unique menu items. Nice cellar ambiance. Sour waitress was replaced by friendly professional waiter at 9. Salads average and potatoes plain and unappealing.

The best I've tried in Toledo. The Brazilian style steak was great. The service was nice and the people working there very friendly. The only thing was that you had to pay for the bread. The location was nice too and overall it was a great meal.

We were totally disappointed with this restaurant. They we're not friendly at all and no one tried to explain the menu. We waited for a table quite long. Service is bad. We ordered a bottle of water even and it never came. Wish I consulted trip advisor instead if the tourist office. Never again
