My husband and I visited on a Friday night around 7:45pm. We do not speak Spanish (hola and gracias are about it) and thankfully Ana the waitress and bartender speaks very good English! We tried multiple foods and all were wonderful. Based on reviews here on TripAdvisor we asked Ana for gin and tonics. She asked us what kind of... More

More than a cafe, considering the seating available upstairs. Exquisite tapas, delicious raciones and media raciones, and friendly, attentive staff, made our visit last week a reason to revisit the following day! Ana made recommendations on the wine and also explained her wall of spirits. Then she made us the best gin and tonic we've had in a long time.... More

A very pleasant place to stop for a drink. They take their time to prepare drinks with their own unique touch. Gin and tonic seems to be their specialty, is very gourmet, and depends on the gin they will add the correspondent seed and fruits.

My partner and I were visiting Toledo for the day. We walked into several restaurants looking for the perfect lunch spot. The staff at El Botero were very welcoming! The clientele seemed to be mostly locals who were very happy. It was a perfect place to have lunch. The wine that was recommended by the bar tender was delicious, the... More

I stayed in Toledo for almost 2 weeks, this was my third visit to this wonderful city, I have to say finding El Botero was one of my favorite parts of my vacation! It is not just the food but the presentation and the wonderful staff that makes your visit to El Botero a fabulous experience. The prices are fair... More

Stopped for coffees and churros. A very pleasant bar area, with a great atmosphere. Served by very friendly, and attentive staff. Look out for the antique tiles on the floors and walls. Well worth a visit.

A small and cosy restaurant . We had a degustation menu, the dishes are always mixing tastes in a surprising way. The Gin Tonic is excellent.

Honestly, this was a terrific meal. We did the gastronomic menu for 45€ which was 8 courses for lunch. We ate too much but the food was great. It's wasn't touristy at all. The food was high end Spanish - we had fois, suckling pig, hake, tuna, langoustine with white asparagus, amazing chocolate cake with olive oil.

We had a quiet meal and really enjoyed superb gin and tonics, shared a beautiful mushroom and truffle starter (lovely) and then my partner chomped his way through a huge perfectly cooked solomillo (but with no veg or potatoes except crisps?!) and I had a wonderful plate of tender unfatty oxtail with stewed apple (recommended). Replete we retired to a... More

We stopped in for a drink and a racione. The waiter recommended the rabo de toro and it was awesome. The atmosphere is pleasant, but we sat in the bar area, and the stools grew tiresome quickly.
