We had a very warm welcome, as we entered it lead us to small bar but when we were shown the sitting area at the top it was cozy and nice. We ordered, well we never had bull tail dish with some hesitation we ordered 1/2 portion, the dish which was fairy priced. Well after having it at Taberna I... More

Took lunch here during a day visit to Toledo and enjoyed it very much. It is an unassuming establishment with a flare of authenticity to it. Service was excellent, attentive and welcoming. And the food was tasty and of high quality.

We ordered the Green Salad with Almond Vanilla. This was a hot plate of cooked vegetables. It was inedible as it was extremely salty. I complained after taking two bites. The waitress said that it was not salty, but did not taste it. They charged for the entire meal and did not apologize.

The majority of tourists had already left town for the day, but my wife and I were wandering around the old city trying to find a place without plastic chairs and patio or herds of jamon hanging from ceilings optimistically depending on small inverted umbrellas preventing slow flowing fat from attacking the unwary. We were about to give up. We... More

Stumbled into here for late afternoon post-museum visit glass of wine before heading back to hotel around the corner. Friendly bartender, good tapas. Watched him craft some gin and tonics for a threesome that arrived shortly after us and it was obvious he cared about quality. We were the only two groups in the bar area. We came back several... First, the staff was terrific, friendly and professional; attentive without being bothersome. They suggested the Menu del Dia, which proved to be a great value and quite tasty. The atmosphere was warm, charming and genuine; not sterile or packaged. Overall, a great experience. We went back several times.

We had lunch here and enjoyed it very much! Staff is very friendly and advised us their specials. It is a great place to escape the busy center of Toledo during a visit. The restaurant is on the second floor and very cosy. We enjoyed our lunch very much and we recommend you this place!

Had the menu del dia for lunch and could not have been happier: 1st course = Salad with falafel (after eating a lot of rich food in Madrid, I was glad to have some greens) 2nd course = Spanish meatballs (my wife had the tuna; both were excellent) Cafe con leche (they let you choose between a dessert and espresso)... We stopped by to have a beer, but then our children were feeling hungry so we decided to have a quick lunch...We ended up with 3 glasses of wine each my wife and myself, and a good lunch! We were all very satisfied with the food and service; it was early afternoon and we stayed next to the bar room... More
