This an intimate wee restaurant that was empty when we stopped by for lunch (like most restaurants in Toledo food is served between 12 and 4) and stayed pretty quiet until we left. The service was very attentive as you'd expect in an empty restaurant and the menu had some elements of fine dining about it along with the usual... More

We selected Fabula for our only meal during a day trip to Toledo. It was recommended by someone we trust, however it was easily the worst meal we had during 2 weeks in Spain. We tried 3 dishes: Patatas Bravas, Secreto, and a mushroom dish. The mushrooms were pretty good, but the other two dishes were just awful. The Patatas... More

We were warmly welcomed and seated quickly. We asked for recommendations and were pointed to the eggplant, a salad with avocados and drizzled with caramelized sugar, and the venison. We would not have picked any of these out, but OH MY GOODNESS - THEY WERE SPECTACULAR! The presentation was utterly amazing, and all the dishes cooked to perfection. The venison... More

We had dinner here on a Saturday evening, a selection of tapas although some quite substantial. The food was excellent and service very good as well. Really enjoyed it and would recommend it highly.

Tables for about 20 people ... Go early. Lovely service ... Super chorizo appetizers, suckling fried pig ribs, and high marks for salad with nuts, roasted peppers, avocado and red lettuce.

for starters we had the fried vegetable tapa which was big enough for 2 and very delicious. after we had a pork dish (almost in all dishes you can choose either a full or half dish - the full size is quite big and suitable for 2 ppl) which was excellent. dessert is also magnificant - both the Chocolate Souffle... We came here after reading great TA reviews. We were not disappointed. This place offers great food and honest service. We didn’t know how large plates were and prepared to order 6 plates for 3 people thinking that they were tapa size. After we read 5th item off of menu our waiter (or probably owner) said that it would be... More

This small restaurant is right around the corner from El Embrujo and is run by the proprietors son. This reminded me of a Spanish version of a fern bar, which is to say that some attention was actually paid to decor, lighting, and such which is rare in my experience with at least southern Spain. Like his fathers place this... More

11/4-2013 at 20:00 we went to this "fabolous" restaurant. It was closed without any sign of plans to open. No signs of opening hours. It looked dead. Sorry. Rolf Larsen

Knowing we just had a day trip to Toledo, I searched online beforehand for a good restaurant there and so glad I did, as it was easily the best 3 course 'menu of the day' of our holiday. The owner was so welcoming, the food so tasty, and it was all just perfectly relaxing for us after walking round the... More
