Specialist for pinchos: small cuts of bread with different things on. Each bread has a toothpick. Whenever fresh pinchos come out of the kitchen, a bell is rung, and the pnchos are served. You take an empty plate, eat pinchos as much as you like, collects the toothpicks, and then pay as much as you have collected toothpicks. Not very... More

I don't understand why this place has received so many unfavourable reviews. I ate there in Nov. 2014. Maybe ownership changed? My wife and I ordered two salads: chicken and tuna. The lettuce was fresh and crispy; my chicken breast was nicely grilled. We had one of their pastries for dessert; delicious.

While on vacation in Spain (October 2014) we were looking for the restaurant where we can get a taste of real tapas (small piece of bread covered with small amount of different food). We found it in Lizarran restaurant in Toledo. We enjoyed it very much. We liked friendly atmosphere (even with a huge amount of customers - restaurant was... More

Everywhere from Toledo on down through Andalucía they call small plates Tapas. We had been in San Sebastian and Barcelona last year and wanted tapas...bite size pieces of bread with something great on top. This place had exactly what we wanted and although it looked like just a bar selling hamburgers and filled mostly with local families we went in.... More

We enjoy the variety of dishes that are are available in the many tapas and Pinchos bars and restaurants throughout Spain. On our recent visit to Toledo, were the streets are narrow , paved with uneven cobblestones and in places very steep. We called into this modern tavern style eatery with the most colourful display of Pinchos we had ever... More

This is a little, seemingly, hole in the wall Tapas restaurant we found in Toledo. While the hostess did not know much English, she knew enough to help us with our drinks and inform us that cold Tapas were available and she would bring fresh hot tapas to us. The Tapas were amazing. We weren't super hungry so we each... More

After walking around the city of Toledo for a while we headed back to main square and found this tapas bar on the way (but realized later that it right next to the main square). We took a selection of tapas and found them to be among the best we ever tasted in Spain. Was it only because we were... More

We usually try to go to a Lizarran when in Spain as they are a reliable source of good beer, reasonable wine and food. This one is in a central location, and had the added bonus of being open on Christmas Day, which was a nice surprise. We came here a few times during our trip, partly because it is... More

We got there late in the evening for a glass of wine but decided to go for the pinchos - with chistorra sausage, with jamon serrano and brie, with tortilla de patatas (spanish potato omelette) and one called musico (with cheese, dates, nuts and chocolate sauce if we're not mistaken). Quite good, I especially like the one with tortilla, my... More
