Definitely a must! They're been opened for more than 50 years and they always have "Carcamusas" if you don't know what is it you have to go to try, I'm sure you will repeat your order. Carcamusas: traditional meal from Toledo, don't try others.

The carcamusas was one of the culinary highlights of our recent trip to Spain. Also, the menu of the day includes a decent bottle of wine, so great value for money. We enjoyed our meal in the courtyard, which served as a very tranquil setting for a midday respite and luncheon.

Interesting choice of tapas. We ate at the bar for lunch. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Most reviews rave about the pork stew which is good but not great. (Carcamusa) Fried calamari was delicious.

Pretty good tapas in midst of old town. Bar area small and very crowded but patio was pleasant, though, likewise crowded and shared with 2 other restaurants. Food was pretty good; service slow but we didn't care. Prices were quite reasonable.

Order Carcamusa, tender slow-cooked pork dish in a tomato sauce. It's a go-to choice recommended by the waiter, and it was outstanding. We sat on the patio in the back, a perfect way to break up a day before next round of sightseeing.

A tiny place on a street corner all the way in the center of the old Toledo city within the city walls. It has a small bar area where you should be sitting if you want to enjoy cheap drinks with free tapas or opt for the small outside patio, either way it's tight and crammed with limited seating. They... More

We went for the tapas, which did not disappoint, and the bar atmosphere, which was lively. The service, however, was a tad brusque, a bit impatient---maybe they're tired of the tourists.

I guess I expected something different, based on the reviews. The food is good, the prices great, the service curt. I expected a full menu in the evening as well as at lunch. No such luck. The food is good, especially the cucurmacas. But if you want a full meal, go at lunch.

Went there with Spanish colleagues, ordered many plates, which we shared so I got to try many dishes and each and every was delicious. The place was totally full but luckily we had a reservation. The service was great! Tortilla and Toledian typical dish recommended for tourists
