Have tasted menu del dia for a 2 different prices: the cheapest for 6.5 and more expencive for 13.5. It was fast but not very tasty. A lot of people, nice service. But so crowdy like in fast food: eat and go. Actually reccomend for a fast stop to have a rest in Toledo.

Don't normally complain too much, but saw a good review in Steve's so gave it a try last night. Most unfriendly service in the 10 days we've been in Spain so far. 15 euro set price menu was horrid, had piece of sausage I could not cut. Rabbit had no taste and was way over-cooked. Ice cream was store-bought cup.... More

- Good location if you are strolling around the old town small streets. - Staff isn't 100% kind but they surely make their work in time. - Prices are very good for a central restaurant that serves handmade food - they have fix-priced menus (€8.50, 13.50, 18) with first and second dishes, drink and dessert.

Open restaurants were scarce on a Monday night in Toledo (June 2014) so we settled for Palacios on the strength of the LP recommendation. We had the Menu Del Dia - over-priced (13.50E), over rated & totally unworthy of the glowing reviews. I had the partridge/bean stew - served lukewarm, tasted OK. The pork stew was cold so that had... Meal was quick but all but cold - suggest chef having night off. There seemed to be okay meals for the locals, but ours and other foreigners around us seemed to be served slop. Don't go there as the fixed price menus are a con for a horrible meal and there are better meals anywhere else in Toledo.

This is not a gourmet restaurant; it is more of a local, family place. Good food at a good price and served with no frills and pretty quickly. Their specialties are the roast suckling pig and suckling lamb. Both are tender and juicy and full of flavor. Their gazpacho is a different take on the traditional thick tomato soup and... More

El peor sitio donde he comido con creces. Comida de la peor calidad, calentada en el microondas, mal servicio, sucio, grosero. La comida estaba en mal estado. Las 5 personas que comimos allí, comimos MAL. Worst food ever. Very low quality, heated in the microwave, bad and rude service, dirty place and uncomfortable. The five of us didn't like the... More

The specialty of partridge with white beans is heavy on the beans and light on the partridge, which I'm guessing is like squab (a small bird). They have a nice fixed price menu del dia.

You get what you pay for here and you get it quick. 23€ for a 3 course meal for 2 including half a litre of wine and 3 beers.

We walked all over Toledo and stopped here for lunch. The sign and the menu looked inviting. Unfortunately, our server was surly although the manager was friendlier. Food was ok but I wouldn't go here again.
