Went once for lunch and once in the evening. Packed to the rafters on both occasions. Take the tapas selection if you're not sure. The kids loved the venison meatballs and the patatas bravas were always a hit. More sedate tables and chairs upstairs - not that any were available without a long wait so perched and stood around a... More

A nice little restaurant to go to when visiting Toledo. Located right near the famous Zocodover square. Lots of people but well worth it. Sitting right beside old Roman walls and caves. You must try the "bomba"--fried/baked potato with ground beef (or maybe deer) and yummy brava sauce on top. All the tapas I have tried there are excellent, and... More

If you're looking for a cool place to drink and nibble with delightful pleasure at a reasonable cost, then El Trebol is the place for you. This bar is definitely the place you need to land in at any time although I would consider it more of an evening joint . The bar is smart and cushy with a relaxing ambient... More

We went to El Trebol for an early lunch. The restaurant interior is funky and cool. The menu was in Spanish only and so aside from the ever-popular "bomba", we ordered dishes based on purely guesswork. The bomba was quite good but the other dishes were disappointing. Maybe we just didn't know how to order the good things off the... More

Our hotel assured us that we could eat here before 8:00. Actually, the full menu and restaurant seating is available only after 8:00. But the physical environment--literally integrated onto historic walls--caused us to sample tapas--fine, indeed--and kill time. That was a good decision, for our dinner of salad and mixed grill was excellent and surprisingly generous in portions. A little... More

Lady at the hotel we stayed recommended this restaurant for dinner. And we were really grateful! It is a very good place. So typical, local and frendly. And cheap by the way! It was so nice to seat outside in a small court enjoying beer and tapas. Fabolous atmosphere. Quails were okay but not the best though.

Nice place to sit outside and have lunch. Good tapas. Stuffed tomato with shrimp. Shrimp croquettes. It was right off the main square, but on a nice quiet little street.

we were among the first patrons at the start of lunch time and were completely ignored by the waitstaff. they took orders and served drinks to four other tables of patrons who came in after us, before we finally had to flag someone down. the food was interesting, tasty and came quickly but the service otherwise was so awful, I... Arrived late on Sunday afternoon and most places were closed for the day. Food was simple and excellent. Wine list minimal but had three and all were good. Even if it wasn't Sunday and there were more choices you can't go wrong here.
