Bar Alfileritos 24 was where we landed after much museum and town exploring in the morning of our day visit from Madrid. They have two separate dining experiences under the same roof – a tapas bar and a more expensive restaurant (upstairs). They were full at ground level for the tapas, so they put us in the cellar – the... More

It is lovely to find a very good looking restaurant with excellent service (the one we had) with a almost entirely"gluten free" menu at a reasonable price! I do not pretend nothing more! I had the "Menu del día" that I strongly recommend, excellent food (as quality and quantity). A relaxing meal in a nice environment.

Contemporary deco in an old building, average food with neat presentation, careless waitress (spilled beer on one of us), and an attempt to over-charge us. Only our high spirit had made this dinner tolerable on our last night in Spain.

Our meals were excellent, especially the cod and sea bass. One of the best meals on our 12 day trip through Spain. Servers were pleasant and gracious. Prices for wine and food were reasonable when compared to the quality of both. Service was good, friendly and accommodating to English speakers. Highly recommend!

After wandering through the streets of Toledo, I ended up at this restaurant. It is very unassuming from the outside, but inside it is really lovely. I sat in the downstairs area, which looks almost like a cave, with the stone walls. The music was a strange mix of jazz-ified pop and rock songs (I heard Wonderwall and many Michael... More

My wife and I spent a day walking through Toledo and decided to have lunch at a highly recommended Tripadvisor restuarant. Alas the place was full and about to close at 15:30 (the time was 14:30). The owner recommended Alfileritas 24 which coulnd not have been better. The decor - fantastic -an old building (located in the midst of the... More

A few minutes walk from the Zocodover brought us to the restaurant. At first unimposing, with the bar on the ground floor occupied by puzzled students, we were quickly ushered to the charming upstairs restaurant. The building, parts of which date from the 15th century, has had an excellent restoration/update to provide a comfortable, modern atmosphere. One of our party... More

It is hard to understand how someone can make a bad review of this restaurant. The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is cool and cozy, the service is super friendly and the food is unique. The "croquetas de mejillones" as starter were better than all of those I tasted in Madrid. The cod with cream, bacon, onion and pesto was... More
