Best Coffee We Had All Trip

We stopped for breakfast once, and coffee twice. The first time we stopped was the tail end of breakfast, and the tortilla and jamon were pretty good. The coffees, however, were amazing. We may have had a different experience if we didn't speak a little spanish, but if we make it back to Toledo... read more

We sat in a table in the shade with fine jets of water spray very nice on a hot day, but that's where it ends, waitress didn't crack a smile and avoided contact with us at all cost. Finally got served. Maybe it was because she wasn't good at English!! Took another 15 minutes to get her attention to order... More

We ate the late lunch in Restaurant Kumera, which our hotel's (Hotel Saint Isabel) receptionist recommended. We chose the menu of the day, which had a few alternatives and was quite cheap, only 12,90€ and included even one glas of beverage. The starter salad was very abundant and tasty. The main course, chicken wings, wasn't so amazing, but quite eatable.... More

Seems like a lot of reviewers had issues with the wait staff, luckily we didn't face the same challenges. Not the friendliest but maybe knowing some Spanish helped. The menu - in all Spanish - offered some nice breaks from the typical tapas. Our party had several different types of meat and potatoes type dishes and everyone walked away full... More

Initially we were excited to find a restaurant in Toledo that had so many celiac options and were really looking forward to having such a wide choice. If only we'd checked Trip Adviser first ... On entering the restaurant we first thought that the wait staff were ignoring us because of some misunderstanding on our part. During the rest of... More

Chose this place out of laziness after a fascinating but tiring walk around Toledo. Big mistake, HUGE! Should have checked TA! Started with being served by the grumpiest, rudest waiter in Spain. I would have left there and then but our group was thirsty and the shaded tables were a welcome respite from the heat; so we went ahead and... More

At first the menu looked good but the service and the food were absolutely terrible. The waitresses clearly are not interested in serving you. It was the worst food we have eaten in Europe. The Caesar salad was simply a few pieces of lettuce swimming in dressing. It was also horribly overpriced. We had to go out afterwards and buy... More

As others have said, the service in this place is bad. I ordered a steak, it was not cooked to my liking so I told the waiter, and he replied I can't un-cook it. Also this restaurant is on different levels so there is a stair case which the waiters run up and down, not really a relaxing environment. Just... More

One of the worst restaurants we ever ate! Bad service (he didn't even have the decency to explain the menu which was in Spanish, he didn't respond when I asked for a fork so we had to share a fork together). The food was very poor as well. No choice of wine (although upstairs you could choose 20 different wines... More

Grumpy service spoiled our evening. Desert and wine for 2 diners failed to arrive, and toilet facilities broken. Poor show all round.
