As others have said, the service in this place is bad. I ordered a steak, it was not cooked to my liking so I told the waiter, and he replied I can't un-cook it. Also this restaurant is on different levels so there is a stair case which the waiters run up and down, not really a relaxing environment. Just... More

One of the worst restaurants we ever ate! Bad service (he didn't even have the decency to explain the menu which was in Spanish, he didn't respond when I asked for a fork so we had to share a fork together). The food was very poor as well. No choice of wine (although upstairs you could choose 20 different wines... More

We stopped for breakfast once, and coffee twice. The first time we stopped was the tail end of breakfast, and the tortilla and jamon were pretty good. The coffees, however, were amazing. We may have had a different experience if we didn't speak a little spanish, but if we make it back to Toledo we will drop in for coffee.

Grumpy service spoiled our evening. Desert and wine for 2 diners failed to arrive, and toilet facilities broken. Poor show all round.

Tried their menú del día for € 12.90. It included two entrees, a beer, and dessert. Good size portions, superb quality. Our young waitress didn't speak any English, but was really friendly and helpful. We were able to communicate with my extremely rudimentary Spanish and some sign language.

I was quite excited to go to this restaurant which was well recommended by a well known guide book. The menu looked great. On arrival was ignored for 10 minutes whilst waiters rushed around. Then was taken downstairs to a small room containing a table of 8 baying Brits.plus a table for 2 Not the restaurants fault perhaps but not... More

Visited Kumera in May 2012 while in Toledo. On entry we were presented with the menu and as we speak no Spanish we ordered some dishes which we roughly translated as stew for starters and then beef and lamb for the main course. To be fair the food was excellent. The starters was some kind of vegetarian stew, while the... More

After having had several tourist menus in many Spanish towns, this one was breaking the habit. Kumera offers a set menu at discount price on weekdays, with an excellent salad as a starter, a lobster rice dish as a main course.

My wife and I recently spent 2 weeks driving around Spain on a cultural and gastronomic tour. We are both chefs from Australia and had an amazing time eating in all sorts of establishments, discovering the flavours of this beautiful country. Kumera's is the worst food we've encountered anywhere. We had the tapa degustacion and it was dreadful. Glorified packet... More

I would recomend "Degustación de tapas". Well located. Good food and good service.
