Very good tapas and a great atmosphere

A very good selection of unusual tapas. We went there for a late lunch and for dinner on another day. Very good selection of unusual tapas. Found this restaurant on side of a lovely square. It was very busy which was a good sign. Everyone eating and enjoying delicious looking tapas. We went inside and there was a restaurant that didn't open until 9pm. It was worth the wait - fantastic evening meal - 3 chocolate desert was the best ever!!!!

I actually put a review up for La Cania which should have been for this restaurant! Food was great, good ambience, nice decor and staff were great. Would really recommend this one.

We had carrillera con trufa muyyy rica y escalopines con queso y jamón very normal. The portions very small so if you ate very hungry you will have to take some starter or sth else. After that we had the homemade cake a cheesecake wonderful very spongy juicy and with stone sugar burned on the top accompanied with some ice... More

Happened across this little restaurant for lunch. Busy with locals ordering both tapas and also full lunch. We had a super Dover sole and steak and an amazing goey spainish cheesecake for dessert. Going back for second visit. Great atmosphere and food. Highly recommend. bartender did help us and spoke some English to help with ordering. Lunch and two bottles... More

This could look to untrained eye as one of many bars and restaurants in Santander. Long bar, pinchos resting behind glass, frozen beer taps. And than it all changes once that you try pinchos with Anchovias, Jamon, Morcilla, Queso de Cabra, and many more that they have... each one is specific in its own way, each stands strong to defend... Sure, one of my best meals. We were three and all think the same. They have a big and very interesting wine menu. We have tried a wonderful Ramon Bilbao special edition 2011, fantastic. Very handsome waiters.

I have eaten in cañadios three locations, Cañadios in Santander is my old favorite and it's Madrid location us just as good. "La Maruca" in Calle Velasquez in Madrid is a great place for Tapas
