When you pay a pretty ammount of money for a meal you should recieve inexchange quality, imaginative cookery,an such a warm decoration wich makes your stay a real pleasure. The chart is a little limited but the quality is one of the best in Santander. Drinks and tapas are superb. The offer a daily menu very good and affordable. I'd... More

A great stand-while-you eat pintxo bar offering dozens of pintxo creations all under 3€ apiece. You can easily eat at least 4 p/p accompanied by a glass or two of wine, all for under 15€ each.

The Canadio restaurant had been recommended by our hotel but when we arrived at just after nine we were rather surprised to find ourselves in a very crowded and noisy tapas bar and became rather concerned when we were shown to a small formica topped table at the end of the bar - however a few minutes later the lights... I really liked the Tapas there as they were special: for example the mini Hamburger or the filled zucchini with cheese, ham and béchamel sauce. So it tasted very good, felt modern, authentic and was not standard Tapas as I know it from Germany. Keep up the good work.

We arrived around 9pm when the joint was packed with the young and beautiful enjoying drinks and pinchos or tapas. A friendly barman offered a table in the bar or in the restaurant out back. We took the bar table and the reduced menu. The traditional jamon Iberico, foie gras and top quality anchovies made a great dinner for us... More

Perhaps we have rated it lower as we went on a quiet Thursday afternoon. Tapas served at bar. Seemingly this can be a busy bar in a busy square later in the evening or at weekends.

Lively atmosphere in this traditional bar. Great range and quality of tapas. Wednesday is an utter bargain at €1 per tapas! Not to be missed in you are in Santander and want to mix with the locals.

Although the bar/restaurant was crowded and busy, we got excellent service from the very friendly waiters and enjoyed our "raciones" and pintxos at one of the small tables at the front of the restaurant (the more informal side, next to the bar area with all the pintxos). You can order food both from the menu and from the pintxos at... More

Very well located, and awesome value for your money. Nice variety in pinchos and good service. Again the seafood is the star on the menu

Really enjoyed our meal here - pig trotters, beef cheeks, escalopines, a selection of starters - really great, friendly service, despite not great English from waiters. I was very impressed with the service- one of our party had the queso pasiego - I enjoyed my taste of it, but it wasn't for her. They replaced it with cheese ice cream... More
