Excellent traditional Spanish food. This is not a Michelin * place. I greatly enjoyed the food but what makes this place unmissable is the wine list, put together with great expertise and genuine passion by Andres. He gives great advice as well. This is not a list to impress and show off but a list to discover and explore. Andres... More

On a warm Saturday night in June, the place was packed. We excused our way through to the counter and ordered drinks and a small tapa - the food was very good, the drinks were better, there were seats, the service was EXCELLENT (fast and friendly), the price adequate, the atmosphere wonderful. The collection of alcoholic beverages is incredible: bottles... More

This was a real find in Santander. Old style tapas bar with the Jambon legs hanging from the ceiling. Great range of tapas at the bar- bacalao, prawns, jambon, tortilla (Spanish omelette), goats cheese and chorizo to name but a few ranging from €2 or so. The cana (about 1/3 of a pint) was €1.80 with small wines at €1.40.... More

We stopped for a quick lunch and enjoyed the traditional pinchos and good wine in a classic bodega setting. Quick service at the bar and an amazing selection of wines including a good range of wines by the glass.

The menu was in Spanish, and the restaurant was filled with Spanish families, so we thought it would be better quality than it was. We were disappointed.

Unique atmosphere in a proper Spanish eating house with a very traditional feel, loads of locals were present which we love. Service is slow and unattentive. Incredible wine list is very expensive and doesn't have the classic Muga Reserva Rioja despite having everything else from this fine bodega, we were not given a good reason why either! We ordered a... More

Really nice feel and buzz to the place. Wine and food was lovely, especially the fried anchovies.

Visited twice, once for drink and tapas and once for evening meal. Great place, always busy, tasty tapas and enjoyable, well cooked dinner. Had the famous Tiramisu for dessert and it was very good. Would thoroughly recommend.
