YOU MUST EAT HERE!!!

I just left there...I couldn't agree more with the reviews. A great local, Spanish hangout, with great food. I was by myself and another couple came in at the same time. The place was packed but we waited around 15 minutes or so. The food was authentic, good and reasonably priced. I had the baby... read more

We tried to get in a couple of days ago, but it was full. Went earlier this time and got a table, however, it did not live up to the previous reports / recommendations. The food was good, but nothing special.

This restaurant stands out in Santa Cruz for its hospitality , food and amazing service. We went there with our 2 kids who are super naughty and the waiters were awesome. The service was spot on. The first place where the waiters tried their best to make us understand what each dish was in English . The place was jam... More

Visited Taberna Ramon after checking out the reviews on here and we were so glad we did. The food is traditional, very tasty and there is a very good choice without being too much. Service was quick without the feeling of being rushed and the dishes that we ordered were served at exactly the right intervals. Excellent portion sizes, a... More

We had only one night in Santa Cruz and this restaurant was within easy walking distance of our hotel. We had not booked and it was after eight when we arrived. The restaurant was very busy but we managed to get two beers and waited for a table. We eventually got two seats at the bar and were served quickly... More

Book a table! Monday night and this little place was heaving at 7.30pm. We booked for 8 and a table was held for us. Apart from our "dos copas" of wine being delivered as a bottle (quite possibly my poor Spanish) everything was friendly and perfect. We had the most meltingly tender and tasty aubergine gratin ever, and a tomato... More

Came to the place due to good reviews. I was slightly worried about whether this is a very touristic place. But actually it is very local restaurant. The food is very tasty and the service is very warm. We eat grilled local fish and rabbit chop. Both of them are really good.

Fantastic little place across the rambla from an old bullring. We got there five mins before opening time and there was a small crowd waiting already. The place filled up not long after doors opened and we were lucky to get a table instead of a bar seat. The atmosphere was extremely jovial and the staff very friendly and helpful... More
