Excellent all around

Excellent, friendly service: we ordered some tapas and a bottle of red wine. The wine was excellent and the food was above average. Would go again

We went here during the full moon festival and we're lucky enough to find a free table. The service was very friendly and the menu was available on a tablet in several languages. We had 4 different tapas, namely potatoes, shrimps, mushrooms with curry and fried doe with a cheese filling. All of them tasted excellent. The service was quick... More

Great food, superb ambience and friendly staff... Shame about the guy on the next table smoking a huge cigar throughout my entire meal and the santa Cruz evening breeze sending it's sweet and sickley aroma right across my table.. Oh the joys of al fresco dining. Still it beats London pollution.. Just.. Well recommended

I accidentally found this place walking back home from a friend. Wow! What a jewel. Nicely decorated with attention to detail. The best juiciest fresh baked tuna I had for a long time. I will be back for sure. Also very helpful with helping me with gluten-free food. Great selection of local food and loved the wine selection as well!

It's on the back street between two shopping districts. English menu available, as well as spoken. Shrimp in oil is a standard fare, but the wine was well priced along with the other tapas. Well worth your time to stop for food. A recommend!

Had some really nice tapas sitting outside this buzzy little restaurant in a narrow pedestrianised street. There were other restaurants around but they didn't seem as busy so we were glad we booked. Had a couple of jugs of Sangria, delicious, and a selection of tapas which came out as ready. The welcome was warm and the food good. Sitting... More

We had various tapas and the very best- a real highlight- was the toast with toasted ham and a slice of fried duck?liver. Super! Very good and nice service and the location is perfect a little bit away from the 10.000 cruise passengers invaded the town We know tapas after so many years in Spain Goran and Laila

My friend and I went to Tasca La Monteria based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and were sadly disappointed. We went there on a Sunday night at approximately 7:45pm and we were the only people in the restaurant - this didn't bother us at all! We ordered 4 tapas dishes between us, a glass of wine and a diet... More

My partner and I had dinner here on our first night in Tenerife and were very pleased. So much so, in fact, that we stopped in once again a couple of days later. The owner, David, seemed to recognize us from the first visit, greeted us warmly and even good-naturedly posed for a photo. The first night I had a... More

Located in a side pedestrian street in the centre of Santa Cruz, this is a lovely place for a relaxing dinner with delicious Spanish tapas. I went there twice, both times I sat outside enjoying warm breeze of the late summer evening. The menu offers a good selection of the best Canarias dishes, being tapas lovers we went for them....
