Good, quiet and traditional place for lunch.

This is a good, quiet and traditional place for lunch. The staff are quite formal but friendly and polite. The food is not exciting but is prepared with care. The menu of the day is good value at 13.50 Euros and includes 1/4 of good wine (I only tried the red).

This restaurant is close to the Botanico hotel so we went for lunch . The €13 menu of the day is superb , Gaspacho , grilled Salmon , fresh fruit salad and a glass of wine . However when we went back for dinner it was disappointing , our lamb shoulder was like rubber and the beef "Filet" tasted and... More

Restaurant is located right across the street from Botanic Oriental hotel and is a nice addition to the hotel restaurants. It start working from 19:30 ( in April) and was half-empty. Menu is rather extensive and interior very warm and friendly. It is slightly on an expensive side ( i guess because of the location), but not too much. We... More

Went here 20 years ago when we first went to Puerto. Just cannot fault it and still have the reasonably priced set menu

We stayed at the Hotel Botanical opposite the restaurant. We had a great meal there one night with reasonable service. so we decided to book again for our last night. Whilst the food was very good, the service level as appalling due to lack of staff. The waiters were running around like blue ar*e flies!! When we go back next... More

We went to Magnolia in search of a finer dining experience. The food was decent, although I do think that five langostine (jumbo shrimp) could have been "deveined" (cleaned). My mother had a fish dish with asparagus, which came with two small, rather tough spears. My main complaint, though, was the service. We had to wait quite a while to... More

Ate here with a few members of my family as a last minute choice, and it turned out to be a good one. It was a really lovely place with good service, atmosphere and food. My starter unfortunately wasn't to my taste however I just did realise how it would come and made a mistake in my ordering, followed by... More

The total place has a first class upmarket feel about it from the décor to the food served by very efficient staff although a little on the pricey side as always one gets what you pay for and here is no exception but as other people have said the meal of the day at 13.50 euro is very good value...
