A great dining experience

Weve eaten at the Regulo on previous visits to PDLC and once again it lived up to our expectations in every way. Recommended by our hotel. Would definitely repeat if we are back in the area. Traditional and international food. Have several small rooms so a nice atmosphere. Service was good, but not hurried. We had made a reservation. Suggest its best to do so. Really enjoyed the meal. I had steak, done rare as I like it. Forget what my wife... More

Welcomed by a glass of Jerez, this is a very pleasant restaurant in an old and typical house of the old center of the city. A recommended place for fish. Decent winelist at reasonable price. Service is very good, with pleasant staff. I went twice in a row as this was a pleasant "discovery" from the Michelin guide. Price is... More

We have been coming to Regulo's for many years. It never fails to impress. This year we sat for one evening in the delightful courtyard next to the fountain and then last night we were in the atmospheric dining room upstairs. The service was a little slow since the place was full, but we didn't mind as it gave us... More

Another very good meal at Regulo. We shared the Millefeuille of Smoked Salmon with Pear, Spinach and Rocket with Balsamico. An excellent mixture of tastes and extremely well presented. Mains were Solomillo with Roquefort Sauce for Rupert, a grilled sole for Liz and a Dorada a la Plancha for your correspondent! All were very good and the Canarian Potatoes with... More

As always wonderfully pleasant service from co- owner Marta Pages who, with her father, has everything down to a fine art here. What an incredible memory she has as she recalls likes and dislikes from previous visits. The courtyard area is much prized and advance reservations are essential for that part of the restaurant but the other rooms are pleasant... More

We visited the restaurant in February without a reservation. We have been coming to Regulos for nearly 20 years and always enjoy our meals there. This visit was no exception, the food was well presented and the chateaubriand was delicious. The only comment I would make is about the vegetables, which were a little bland but overall a good dining... More

I ate here with a group of my family (8 people) on a carnival night. We were really excited about eating here and my grandfather had before and said it was good as well as the relatively good reviews. However I really didn't think that it was anything special at all. We do have a couple of vegetarians in my... More

No outside dining here so save this for a cool evening. Lovely Canarian internal courtyard and dining areas with an oldy worldly feel. Interesting menu with excellent fish. A few euros more expensive on the overall bill but worth it. Worth making a reservation at it is understandably busy. Lots of locals eat here - always a good sign.
