Had a lovely lunch here with a carafe of house white wine. Seafood soup was delicious as was the Tomato soup. Warm freshly baked bread too was yummy. We shared a platter of seafood for our mains including garlic prawns. There was plenty for 2 people & was very tasty & well prepared. We sat in the little courtyard which... More

My friend and I dined here twice during our recent visit to Tenerife. On the first occasion we arrived without a reservation and had a nice table on the first floor, the second time we had a similar table, having called in and booked in advance, as it was a Saturday night. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the... More

Just recovering from a very disappointing lunch after I got ill stomach. Carpaccio pulpo (squid) was heavy and did not taste well. Worse my main dish: sole swimming in a lake of old oil and over cooked potatoes. Service was nice dough. Price too high! If you like fish and shellfish go to La Carta.

We went to Regulo twice...lots of different area to sit in..we liked the second floor.A glass of sherry on arrival is a nice touch and the food is very good. There is a wide choice of fish dishes and whilst not cheap is little dearer than lesser establishments.Good choice of wines.Service is good.

We visited with our 2 year old son, for the last night of our holiday. Regulo seems very upmarket so we thought it would be a good way to finish our stay in Puerto de la Cruz. We had a reservation & had asked for a high chair but this wasn't at the table when we arrived, and it took... More

Regulo is in a beautiful building, with dining rooms scattered throughout. You can eat in the internal covered courtyard, on a landing on the stairs, or in one of several dining rooms upstairs. The service and style is more formal than many of the other restaurants we went to in PDLC. The starters were lovely and overall the food was... More

Pricier than your usual restaurant in Cruz, but ver, very good. Had the seafood platter for two as main and it was everything you could ask for and probably more! Professional service in charming surroundings.

In an old town there's usually a restaurant that looks as if it has been here for yonks, upholds traditional standards and gets a Michelin entry. In Puerto de la Cruz it's Regulo that fit that bill. Formal setting in a collection of little rooms around a courtyard, friendly service by waiters in fancy waistcoats, resolutely old-fashioned cooking. We stuck... More
