We have been to Regulo several times over the years and we have always loved it. The food is consistently good, the service is fast and professional, and the upper floor of the building is really stunning. Fish are particularly good and the hake one of the best we have ever tried. The catch of the day, simply fried, is... More

Very disappointed. Got to say the restaurant was lovely and the food first class so really what am I complaining about. I have never had such disinterested service. The restaurant was not busy and all the waiters plus front of house person just huddled together talking - even when you got their attention it was very off hand.

Think this restaurant relies on the building to impress, the food certainly didn't. Better fish dishes to be had nearby. Ordered the fresh hake, basque style, pretty tasteless, quite expensive. Little bit of "attitude" from one of the waiters. Will not be returning.

We go to this restaurant every time we are in Tenerife, at least twice and always wish we had been on more occasions. The menu is extensive and the ambience wonderful, they have several individual rooms and all are charming, staff are first class and well trained. Standard of food is amazing but as the place is always very busy... More

Had a lovely lunch here with a carafe of house white wine. Seafood soup was delicious as was the Tomato soup. Warm freshly baked bread too was yummy. We shared a platter of seafood for our mains including garlic prawns. There was plenty for 2 people & was very tasty & well prepared. We sat in the little courtyard which... More

My friend and I dined here twice during our recent visit to Tenerife. On the first occasion we arrived without a reservation and had a nice table on the first floor, the second time we had a similar table, having called in and booked in advance, as it was a Saturday night. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the... More

Just recovering from a very disappointing lunch after I got ill stomach. Carpaccio pulpo (squid) was heavy and did not taste well. Worse my main dish: sole swimming in a lake of old oil and over cooked potatoes. Service was nice dough. Price too high! If you like fish and shellfish go to La Carta.

We went to Regulo twice...lots of different area to sit in..we liked the second floor.A glass of sherry on arrival is a nice touch and the food is very good. There is a wide choice of fish dishes and whilst not cheap is little dearer than lesser establishments.Good choice of wines.Service is good.

We visited with our 2 year old son, for the last night of our holiday. Regulo seems very upmarket so we thought it would be a good way to finish our stay in Puerto de la Cruz. We had a reservation & had asked for a high chair but this wasn't at the table when we arrived, and it took... More

Regulo is in a beautiful building, with dining rooms scattered throughout. You can eat in the internal covered courtyard, on a landing on the stairs, or in one of several dining rooms upstairs. The service and style is more formal than many of the other restaurants we went to in PDLC. The starters were lovely and overall the food was... More
