Tasty - but SO slow

We went back to El Mana for lunch yesterday - the second time in a week - because we enjoyed it so much the first time. The food was very fresh and tasty, and a change from the usual tapas fare. Once again, everything - from the soup to a crisp salad and Thai style stir-fried vegetables - was... read more

We are a vegetarian and a meat eater and both of us found this restaurant excellent. We liked everything about this restaurant which specializes in vegan, vegetarian and organic food. The starters (goat cheese nests) were perfect and we also liked our main courses - especially the pasta of the day was delicious. Wine was excellent and service polite. Even... More

Very poor main courses, just fried vegetables with no taste, couscous was too salty and very dispointed... This is not vegan cuisine, I cook better everyday at home... The only good point is you can eat vegan and organic, but cook at home it will be tastier and a lot cheaper (moreover when they make you pay the tapas you... More

We ate here twice in 2013 & twice in January 2015. It is a limited menu but the spicing of the dishes is complex & tasty. The dishes are beautifully presented. We particularly enjoyed the starters - the samosas were so nice that I had them both times this year. The food is cooked to order so if it is... More

My wife and I ate here twice in January, having eaten here on our last visit to Tenerife in 2013. The quality of the food and presentation is first class, and the only slight gripe I have is that the menu hasn't changed , I believe, since they first opened , nevertheless my wife who is the vegetarian is very... We uesed tripadvisor to find this place and we were not disappointed. A lot of interesting vegetarian alternativs and what was most surprising to me was that they had a few really good local brewery beers.

well, vegerarian, yes, but... somehow the place did not convince. the food was ok, but not more then that. the menue has some surprising dishes, but then the kitchen seems to find it hard to live up to the challenge of the menue. but maybe we just came on a bad day. it was fine, but we did not try... Ordered samosas as starters and tofu with vegetables and potatoes. The samosas were tasteless, they should've had way more spiciness to them. Main course was pretty terrible. The fried tofu and veggies had next to no taste to them and the potatoes were just dry chunks with no sauce. Upon request I got a mediocre tomato sauce to try and... More

If you are in Puerto de la Cruz you must eat at this delightful restaurant. Most of the food served is grown in their own garden and is as fresh as you can get it! The starters are interesting, the wheat covered goat cheese with honey is delicious and filling and the beetroot, cheese and leek and mushroom croquettes were... More

I travelled from the west cost in Los gigantes especially for my birthday lunch as it has been difficult to find vegan food this holiday. Well worth the trip. The food was wonderful with excellent service. What good, wholesome food should be. I wish I was in Tenerife long enough to make another trip. Sadly, not this trip
