We saw this restaurant whilst walking along the construction site that is the promenade. It's located in the arches in the wall and can be accessed down a flight of stairs. The views are fantastic and a perfect daytime lunch or drink stop. The service is very good. They speak some English and the menus are presented to you open... More

Garlic "spicy" mushrooms arrived swimming in oil, with burnt, terribly bitter garlic. Sirloin steak tasted like it had been cooked in used deep-fryer oil. Chips were limp and lukewarm. Clams came with a warmed up tin of tomatoes. Fish was overcooked and dry. Service was terrible. No dessert menu or coffee was offered. The views are lovely, but the restaurant... More

We've been to this busy restaurant many times over the years, there are better places to eat food wise but the view in this place is fantastic, you eat whilst the waves crash on the volcanic rocks beneath - pizzas are good, the mussels fishermen style are really tasty, it's not bad value either.

Be warned. Small portions ... We had the chicken breast with baked jackets @ £7.45 a head and we got a very small amount of food. There are better places to eat

Came here twice with my family! Food is lovely and the service is excellent! We all really enjoyed our meals! I recommend the pizzas they are delicious! The restaurant is right on the sea and has tables right over the crashing waves below! The staff are very friendly and helpful! We would recommend this restaurant to everyone! And we would... More

Ate at this restaurant mainly because of its location, right next to the sea. Food was superb, especially for the price!! The waiter we had was also very friendly and funny (giving my female partner the bill and giving me a wink) Very surprised that this restaurant is ranked so low, for us it was perfect.

Poor quality food salad all out of a tin! When my wife complained the waiter shrugged his shoulders 😞 I had grilled king prawn and there was on 5 for 17 euros. Never again there!

Only had a pizza BUT it was a very nice pizza! The view from the open windows over the sea was simply beautiful. The owner Paolo (Not sure that's how you spell it?) Was originally from England - was very chatty and nice, made my friend and I feel very welcome in his lovely restaurant

Unfortunately I have to say that the food was inedible. I ordered fish in green peas sauce but I really didnt expect I got parts of fish that were in freezer for years. (it really tasted like that). The chairs and table were sticky. Nice staff and view though.

Puerto del la cruz is full of restaurants packing the seafront. However many offer food with little promise with sneaky service charges. Pomodoro is not like this, offering a stunning view of the sea this became our restaurant of choice! The staff are friendly and speak good English. The food is prepared quickly and cooked wonderfully even when the restaurant... More
