Fresh fish, ocean views and super friendly service with very reasonable prices. What else can you ask for? We liked this place so much we went twice in a row. I just wish I lived closer to go back as often as I'd like. You won't be disappointed!

Found this lovely place after a long walk around PDLC after church, so we were ready for a bite to eat by 4pm. Thought we might have to sit inside as the two free tables on the balcony had reserved signs on them but I can only thank those that didn't turn up, as we got a superb view out... More

We make a point of coming here every year when we are in Puerto. Although the owners have changed, it would appear that the food is still excellent. The new owner was very friendly and what lovely ambience, sitting outside overlooking the sea and all of Puerto. We will be back in 2015.

About 5 minutes walk from entrance to Loro Park, you really need to be looking for this place, however, it's definitely worth finding. Went for lunch and managed to get a table outside. A half litre of house white was good value for money as we sipped and chose from the menu. Unfamiliar with local fish, the waiter (rather Bohemian... More

The best seafood I have ever had. Staffs recommended me with a seafood platter. The taste was excellent. You can sit next to the sea. The view was excellent!

Unpretentious, unsophisticated and unbelievably good. Service is friendly and well informed and the new Italian owner offers a better selection of fresh fish than was available under the previous ownership. You can dine outside on the small terrace on inside and avoid the smokers...a much preferred option. Tell Felipe of any dislikes or preferences and you are certain to be... More

I went to Tambo today after a long beach walk.I got curious of the view actually and stepped by the restaurant. The young waiter didn't speak Italian and I couldn't speak Spanish so we compromised managin my order in English:)I had a great Gallo Canario served with salad and potatoes.I cannot eat olives/oil and asked to have the fish with nothing... We had the sea food platter for 2. It was amazingly good and more than enough. Friendly staff, beautiful location. 10x better than any other restaurant we tried in Puerto de la Cruz. Its closed on Monday.

A little bit out of the way but well worth finding this great restaurant. Seafood platter for 4 was the best seafood I have ever eaten. Bill came to just over 120 euro but would have been more than happy to pay a fair bit more. Please don't go to Puerto and miss out on going here as it is... More
