nice and cosy place

Finnish people own this restaurant, in a very old building. In the early years the building was used for making shoes for donkeys. Very nice owner and staff. Best for oxe and lamb.

I have eatedn here a lot. The menu is both local and international and the chef prepares an exquisite meal. The house wine is great too. The family run restaurant gives a friendly and attentive service. Don't you dare miss out on the banana mousse. Order it when you arrive because it often runs out - and they'll make you... More

I visit La Herreria now for the third time with my life companion and friends. This time in La Herreria we are served by Marcos, his Finnish wife and their common son and daughter - I believe. La Herreria means smithy or forge (in Finnish paja, in Swedish smedja). That's why the interior in La Herreria creates a warm and interesting... More

We ate quite late so the place was very quiet, however that just meant we got served quickly! Shared the croquettes to start which were good (although they are fishy not piano) and then the fillet steak 'la herreria' which comes with bacon, cheese and pineapple. Sounds a little odd but tastes really good all together.

We had 2 dinners at Herreria during our visit 16 to 23/3. It has a lovely frontage and interior decoration. I was happier with the fish dish on our first visit. The second time we went I opted for a steak dish with a wine sauce and it was a wee bit tough. I was foolish to order a steak... More

Lovely family-run restaurant and definitely a place I would recommend. Food was gorgeous, authentic and reasonably priced, staff very warm and welcoming, really professional service, very relaxing, great surroundings. Very lovely and enjoyable experience.

Visited this restaurant on due to the trip advisor reviews. And wow, what a decision. We had a wonderful evening. The food was absolutely excellent, everything was cooked to perfection. And the staff could not have been more helpful. The cheery waiter greeted us upon entry, made sure we were well looked after, then as we were leaving, rushed to... More

We have just returned from a 5 week stay and eaten here 11 times during our stay it is so good and the menu choice is very good indeed. It is family run and it shows from the friendly welcoming you receive on entering, the choice offered, the quality of food and drink first class, and a service second to... More

We found this by accident while looking for a good place to eat. It was very popular and we were made very welcome by the family who work there. They had a good choice of wines. We chose beef off the blackboard specials and we were not disappointed. The food and service was excellent and could not fault it. We... More
