I think the title sums it up really. We arrived as they were opening and the waiter welcomed us in with a huge smile and buckets of energy. They served us some fantastic food, we shared a seafood platter, everything was cooked very well and the wine was also very good. We had appetizers, starters, mains, desserts and a bottle... More

Lovely food & they do steak on a stone which is a favourite of mine. Very reasonably priced too. Would recommend.

I'm English - Been going there for the past five years and never had a bad meal - especially all meat dishes. House wine excellent, professional service from the waiters. Quiet in the best way but deserves to be more popular as slightly off beatern track. Do pay them a visit.

We have dinned in La Herreria for many years now and it never disappoints and the owner is so friendly when he sees us. The evening was super and the meal first class once again so will be re-booking next time in Puerto for sure. Can recommend and its number of returning clientele speaks volumes.

There can be no more committed a restaurateur than Marcos, proprietor and chef of this atmospheric restaurant. The open kitchen is immaculate, the choice of dishes substantial and the quality of the food is utterly outstanding. Listen to Marcos's recommendations as we did when opting for what he called T Bone Steak which was ,in fact, a large chargrilled rib... More

Nice restaurant with good varieties in the menu. Steaks, pork, lamb, rabbit and seafood. Food was made in an open kitchen and they served small starters while waiting the food. Price for two persons dinner is around 40 euro with starters. Around 6pm on a friday night there were only about four parties dining.

We looked at this restaurant a few times during our trip and it was always very quiet, often empty. We decided to try it one evening, and there were about 5 tables taken, but it's quite a large restaurant so the lack of diners does affect the atmosphere. That said I think people at missing out - the service was... More

We went to check this out two days before our booking. We had been in another restaurant and a couple who come to this area regularly had recommended it. We arrived and only one other table taken, which makes it a bit of a challenge on atmosphere. The place is very old fashioned, Argentinian style rancho steak house, very quaint... More

Owner Marcus really cares about quality and it shows in his sourcing of the very best produce he can obtain. There is a wide choice of freshly prepared dishes with daily specials of fish and meat imaginatively presented and properly cooked. Chargrilled fillet steaks cut like butter and were top quality and incredibly tasty...not always the case in lesser establishments.... More
