Jimmy and David are a couple of stars. My partner and I visited the bar for the first time a few days before Christmas and were told about David's magnificent Christmas dinners by a few of the locals. Despite being fully booked the guys found a way to fit us in. The dinner was amazing - mountains of traditional British... More

Just popped in for directions and had such a lovely chat with the owner, Jimmy, that I went back three times during my week holiday. I had a wonderful cottage pie the second time I went with a special curry flavouring and fantastic chips. Will be popping in again in a few months time when I visit again. Lovely hosts... More

Dave and Jimmy are just treasures, they always make you feel welcome and you can have a chat and a laugh with them. The food is excellent but you need to be really hungry to do it justice. Sunday lunch is a must. The prices of the meals and drinks are really good too. My favourite watering hole :)

We decided to try this bar during a recent holiday to Puerto de la Cruz. The owner was very friendly and helpful with suggestions about what to do as it was our first visit to this area. However it was very quiet the night we went and a tad depressing- the poster on the board outside advertised a event in... More
