We absolutely loved this restaurant. I had been yearning for italian food for four days when we stumbled across La Rosa de Bari in one of the small streets whilst having an evening stroll. The selection of the menu was great and very good value for money spending less than you would in England. The wine list was supurb including... More

We ordered cutlets of lamb and got a huge portion, but most of it was fat and bone. The meat was salty and not very tender. Our waiter was forthcoming and very friendly, but seemed rather unexperienced. We had good fun, but once is enough.

Wish we had discovered this restaurant at the beginning of our holiday. Wonderful starter of squid and prawns and the one of best raviola main course I've ever eaten. Good service and prices were reasonable.

We went to have a look and book a couple of days before we wanted to eat there. Down a lovely little pedestrian backstreet, quite close to the very busy square. This is a charming place, you can eat at 4 tables outside (there are people walking by but doesn't seem to bother some people) Inside there are 3 charming... More

There are two entries for this establishment on TripAdviser - this and one at number 28. In my view both placings underate the establishment. My full comments are at number 28, but the best photos are her.

Return visit to this restaurant. Very good experience. Shared starter of prawns and squid with balsamic. Excellent! Mains were spaghetti with clams and tagliatelle with smoked salmon and asparagus. Both dishes were fantastic. Finish off with superb zapperocos - what more can you ask for? Excellent bottle of wine - very reasonably priced. The olive oil with the bread is... More

Rosa di Bari is really on song and value is excellent. Three splendid meals in March included pumpkin pasta with butter and sage, salmon fillet with crusted mustard sauce & beet root vinaigrette and strips of top quality fillet steak tagliata with rocket salad and sautéed potatoes. Wine list is wide ranging and service is chatty and well informed. Maitre... More

Having eaten here in 2010, we returned to find the same friendly waiter and interesting food, both seafood and meat dishes. A starter of prawns in a creamy parmesan sauce was the very best and had a nice main course of liver with pine nuts & crispy potatoes. Great value compared with UK.

The restaurant is set in an old Canarian house in Puerto de la Cruz, the decor is charming and you sit on one of the downstairs rooms. It's a while since I visited but if I am in Puerto I always make a point of going there. I usually have the prawns in a Parmesan sauce ... To die for... More
