Don't overlook this faded Charles Eames style '70s restaurant tucked away under the museum in Castillo de San Jose, as the spiraling stairs leads you to a huge place with a great view over the industrial harbour, which somehow is a great match. The food is surprisingly good. There is a huge menu, which we put away as there is... More

If you are visiting the island of Lanzarote do ensure you search out the castle with its art collection (although we didn't have time to view this) underneath the Castle is a restaurant with interesting views of the container port and entrance to the cruise ship berths and yachting mariner entrance. Sound's awful but most fascinating. Combine this with a... More

Have always loved this restaurant - mainly due to the views and Manrique-inspired design. I've eaten here several times, most recently in October 2014 and I've never been disappointed. The food is more upmarket than other restaurants I've visited in Lanzarote, but not with upmarket prices. The menu is not extensive - but what is on the menu is done... More

We was recommended by friends, they made it sound do fantastic we simply had to try the restaurant. We was greeted by a very happy waiter and seated in the window to enjoy the stunning tranquil views. We decided to have the 15 euro sample menu, and were not disappointed. We had plenty to eat from fish, chicken, pork, cheeses... More

Recently revamped as "Que Muac" I'd heard the menu had changed to Tapas, served in quirky dishes and was disappointed as this was a favorite place for their excellent steaks. We bit the bullet & booked a table for 15 last Friday and we were not disappointed. We ordered a selection of tapas to start, and were delighted to see... More

Found this lovely restaurant under the fortress in Lanzarote. It has a glass wall over looking the harbour, great view. Menu is average priced but the food looks really good. Nice jazz playing as background music, really fantastic wifi.

This restaurant is about a 15 minute walk out of town just past the cruise terminal. The layout is excellent with huge glass windows looking out over the sea. The food is very good and very competitively priced. The staff are friendly and welcoming - just don't expect express service.

State owned old fashioned restaurant attached to the Castle.Tapas are fantastic - 6 for 16 euros.Service a little haphazard as not privately owned.Still well worth a visit as you can eat and enjoy the waves cascading onto the shore.

We took the No.3 bus from Puerto del Carmen, alighting at Ikea. (Get off at the same bus stop if coming from Costa Teguise) From here it is only a five minute walk down to Castillo de San José. We spent some time looking at the sculpture displayed outside and the exhibition housed within the castle. We then descended the... More

Often you go to a gallery and the retaurant's OK. THen you go to an average gallery with a great cafe. This place scores high - very high - on both. The sympathetically restored old spanish castle looking over the sea houses a great exhibition of spanish and international C20 art - not too cluttered and well layed out. Then... More
