We just returned from our 2 week vacation in La Palma. The Chipi-Chipi is a good restaurant with a great ambience. Very green and funny little separate rooms. The service is very good and the prices are super cheap. Quality of food is ok.

Good but, no Parilla las Nieves!! Veal steak was fantastic but expensive at 12 euros (yes, I know!) compared to the offering at the superior Parilla las Nieves. Fantastic, quirky setting to eat though. If you go by taxi be sure to take the drivers number to get back as we didn't and ended up in a taxi the restaurant... More

It is a nice spot, they have little reserved areas were you can be alone with your family and you do not have to share with other people.

Typical local food at a very reasonable price.- it cost us more to get there by taxi from Canjcajos than the meal itself! Certainly worth a visit for an experience with friends, you eat in small dining cabins around a verdant courtyard. House wine very thin but quality wines very good value. The chicken was overcooked and my plate of... More

We ate at Chippi Chippi twice on our recent week in La Palma and really enjoyed our meals on both occasions. Firstly do check out the website for opening hours – we went on a Wednesday evening only to discover it closed. It is also closed on a Sunday. On other days the hours are 12:00 to 17:00 and 19:00... Other reviewers have  explained the rustic charm and setting in detail. My wife and I dined in El Comedor  and were delighted with the simple local food ,generous portions and friendly service at very reasonable prices. We called in just before lunch one day to make a booking and met the owner Orlando who was very friendly and helpful. We... More

After reading the reviews we drove by Chipi-Chipi in the afternoon to see if it looked like somewhere we would like to eat. From the outside it doesn't look like much, and the parking is extremely limited. However, once inside the quite extraordinary courtyard, full of flowers and plants and happy people, we knew it would be great. The wait... More

I have to say I was reluctant to go as, after reading rave reviews in various places, I thought it would be overrated and I'd leave disappointed. This was definitely not the case. At the roundabout (with a statue of a lady with a basket on here head) which takes you up to the Mirador de la Concepción (well worth... More

This restaurant is well known on La Palma so 6 of our group of 10 walked up from Santa Cruz and the other 4 rode up. There is an inside restaurant, the terrace/garden and also in the garden are unusual cabins of differing sizes to eat in. Usually you have to take a ticket and wait as it is so... More
