Great lunch at a cozy restaurant

Along with some friends we ended up here for lunch after some recommenadtions by locals. We had a great lunch with nice seafood (unfortunately not fresh but still good) and a very nice meat-plate. The prices are rather good and the best thing is the atmosphere!

I Decided to dine upmarket and was not disappointed. The dining room reminded me of a Parador, with very high ceilings, huge plants and the tables dark and distinguished. (I later found out that the dining room is in fact a patio and there is another entrance from the Calle de Brito. By the time I had left there were... More

We finished our week's holiday with lunch here, based on other reviews from TripAdvisor. The food quality was very high, and the service, excellent. The waiter spoke good English and allowed us flexibility to order a mixture of dishes from across the menu. Would come here again and would recommend to others.

Grilled squid was excellent - whole squid with delicious sauce. Best to sit inside where there is an open courtyard and good atmosphere.

We all had the set menu and enjoyed it. I had the tortilla, which was wonderful. I was told by my dinner mates the other starter, the soup, was a little bland. The main dish, pork chop, was great, not dry and had a great sauce on it. The portion size was enjoyable and the sides were also great. Dessert... More

We came here for coffee first and liked it, so we came back for lunch the same day. Several other places nearby offered a typical tourist menu, but this restaurant had a good range of food offering a variety of choices. We particularly enjoyed eating inside in the sheltered courtyard. The service was prompt, and the food was nicely prepared and... More

We (a couple) visited on the Sunday evening during Carnival. The food was excellent, but the service disinterested and poor compared to other restaurants on the island. The staff were much more interested in serving groups of 6 and 8 locals who arrived after us. A shame.

We visited three times during our two week stay. The staff were brilliant and the food, some of the best on La Palma.

Three courses with bread roll and a glass of good quality wine for €10.50 each was tremendous value. Friendly waiters and if you sat in the lower outside area amongst the green pot plants you didn't notice the traffic noise. If the weather is not so good the interior restaurant looked very attractive.
