our lobster was alive.

Very near to our hotel ( AC Gran canaria) so a great choice to dine after comming back from a day trip to tenerif. But it didn't end up here: a big alive lobster had been shown and prepared for us in a really superb quality, and you should know we're big fans of seafood either grilled or... read more

The food is fantastic. Try whatever is fresh on the day. The restaurant owners and the staff are very friendly and make this experience worthwhile.

On our visit to Tenerife, we accidentally came across Rias Bajas Restaurant, it was busy but managed to get a table for 2. Looked like a lot of regulars, good sign. We were not to be disappointed. the food was out of this world, service excellent. we managed to spend over 2 hours there enjoying their food, wine and surroundings.

Our family had dinner here on New Year's Eve and enjoyed it thoroughly. The waiters were attentive, friendly and charming, cracking jokes and making sure we were happy at all times. They did make a couple of small mistakes, which some might have found annoying, but because of the professional and cheerful way in which they handled it, I'm more... More

The service is not much to brag with. But food was better and well worth a visit. The onion soup was almost as good as it can get and the shrimp/avocado salad was impeccable. The escalope viennoise was not as dry as it uses to be and all in all this place is OK

This restaurant knows it does good food and may be trading on this and forgetting service. Second time we have had off hand service here. Took ages to get menu and Spanish customers who came in after us were being looked after first. Bread was slapped down on the table without a word and the service was generally perfunctory. Food... Tasty food, attentive waiters, good ambience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to get a way from the general dross on offer in Playa del Ingles. There are one or two other notable exceptions, in my experience, but they are rare gems and the subject of seperate reviews. Rias Bajas is perhaps a bit more expensive... More

A very recommendable experience. We were there with friends for lunch and didn't leave until six o'clock in the early evening. A wonderful experience of tasting galicean delicacies and accompanied with galicean dry white wine full of fruitiness and freshness. All reasonably priced... On warm days the outdoor tables are recommended with an almost bistro feeling...
