A true gem

The Majuga is a hidden gem in the main shopping district. The service is open and friendly and always at your disposal. Several wines and cavas have been sold out after the "festives days", but we the recommendation we got did work very well. Good food and price performance - we will be back.

We actually went to this place for dinner twice as we liked it so much. The food is superb and the service excellent, friendly and helpful. Not the cheapest place but great value for noney. Excellent choice!

Original variations on local food. Everything was very tasty and José -Luís recommended the best combinations. Rice dishes can be ordered by single servings as well, allowing the diners to taste more dishes. They also have a wide selection of local wines. It was a real treat that we returned twice during our vacation.

Very relaxing atmosphere and very attentive service...they provided recommendations in wine and entrees that were just wonderful...for appetizers, we had the goat cheese salad and tomato soup...for our entrees we had the iberico and the sea bass...we savored every bite...we finished with a honey rum aperitif...don't miss going to this restaurant... It's a gem because it had it all, not... More

All in all, I think this was one of the best meals that me and my husband had in the Canaries. I found this restaurant on Tripadvisor and the reviews were very good so we decided to make a reservation. We weren't disappointed. I had the black rice with seafood and my husband the risotto. We also ordered a salad... More

I like to go to this restaurant about once a month, Many times I phone them for the reservation and I tell them surprise me, I agree a "menú degustación" for certain amount of money. The chef is free to do whatever it wants. They never disapoint me. Original, very well served. I you visit Las Palmas is worth a... More

We came here for a meal while on holiday. The octupus carpaccio as well as the two types of rice (or what the average European would call Paella) were delicious. The good thing is that one can order rice dishes for one person only, which is rare in Spain. Dessert of three types of chocolates and textures was simply fantastic.... More

Romantic setting with low light and ample space. Clean, quiet, not too busy. Service is pleasant, but could be quicker. Wide selection of wines and their speciality is rice. Lots or rice dishes to choose from, and unlike most other restaurants, these dishes can be cooked for one. The canutillo de morcilla is a definite recommendation. The rice dishes we... More
