Where do I start whether you go for lunch, cakes, dinner or just drinks you'll be surprised!! We had lunch, we split the menu since there's a normal menu and tapas so much we had a bit from both....slightly greedy but really good!!! We had calamari, prawns and goat which was all amazing but there were things on all the... More

We chose two very nicely cooked plates of fish from the daily specials - one of Tuna, the other Amberjack. The Canarian potatoes were just the right level of salty, and were delicious with the red Mojo sauce. The service was friendly and portions plentiful. An excellent introduction to Gomero food. We sat outside, so can't speak for the interior... More

We had first come across the Brenusca in May 2011. Just up the Calle Real from the Columbus Museum, it provides Gomeran family fare at sensible prices. The welcome from the proprietor and his daughters is warm and, as commented elsewhere, Mama makes the cakes. Best to consult the daily 'specials' board as this, essentially, is what is available on... More

We first found this cafe in 2012 and had a fantastic home made cake and great coffee there. In May 2014 we returned and the great quality and value for money had not changed. A really good cafe with friendly staff, what more could we want?

This was probably our favouite eating and drinking place in La Gomera. We went there on our first night, rather late and they were getting ready to close up but we were treated so nicely and served a wonderful freshly cooked meal. We ate on sveral other occasions and were greated like friends and again the food was superb, the... More

Advertised as the oldest San Sebastian place, offering really home-made Gomerian food was a little disappointmet or perhaps we were not lucky choosing gambas and carne di cabra. Both were ok though either a little too oily or too spicy but we expected more, judging by the enthusiastic reviews in some guidebooks. Current Trip Advisor (3+) average is much closer... More

This restaurant has a good choice of local fish varieties that you can select from a display cabinet. Try the 'medregal'. It is a small family-run restaurant with good home cooking and decent wine selection.

A traditional family business this is. Mom & dad in the kitchen while the daughters are doing the waiting. Traditional canarian food on the menu. Located in the Calle Real, one of the main streets in San sebastian. Can't miss it. Has a terrace. Affordable prices.

We have been many times in the canary islands, la gomera, tenerife, lanzarote, fuerteventura. So far, this was my worst experience. We had some tuna fish supposed to be fresh. It was very dry, untasty. Mojo sauce (the red once) was swimming in some kind of oil, too much oil. Salad was made with some vegetables plus huge pieces of... More
