a solid decent restaurant option

Good quality food at reasonable prices, pleasant decor and efficient and amiable staff. The locals use it which always tells you something.

My husband and I booked a cruise which called in at La Gomera - one of the more slightly unusual ports of call. We didn't go on an excursion, so wandered around the town and local museum - keeping our eye open for somewhere for lunch. Although there were many restaurants, we decided on La Tasca. The building looked very... More

We stayed in San Sebastian for nearly a week and went back here about three times. The food was absolutely delicious, and portions are huge; in fact, we shared them between us at times. As vegetarians, we tend to find it hard to get any choice in many places in the Canaries, but there was plenty here. Most definitely recommended.

Dined with my husband and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Very generous starter portions. Staff very nice and service good, even though restaurant busy. Two courses, one pudding, two coffees with water and a beer was 36 euros.

Loved the mixed salad. Watercress soup was very good as was the garlic chicken and chips. Service was excellent and the food came very quickly. We ate there twice during our week's stay.

three us eat here very regularly.excellent value for money. Quite a variety on the menu with the mixed salad being very good indeed and is a meal on it's own. The house wine has always been good and a glass of wine is always a fair size. Food is generally well cooked and at very reasonable prices.would strongly recommend.

We visited La Tasca for dinner around 8 pm and he place was already busy. The owner was kind enough to let us sit at the table at the corner by the entrance door, since we had our dog with us. The service was good, the waitress spoke some english - which is rare in spain - and the food... More

Pizza was rather unsatisfactory, but everything else was sound. Freshly baked bread was served witht the gaspacho, which was great!

Loved food and service As it was very quiet we were the only ones in the restaurant. Due to this there were lots of items on the menu unavailable
