Really good atmosphere here; food was very decent and well priced. Alcohol was not expensive either. Full of locals - no tourists when we were there, clearly a local place as not many of the staff spoke english (which is quite nice to confirm the authenticity). They do a really nice selection tapas plate for €3.30 small and just under... More

A delightful little spot that is easy to miss for the uninitiated. We arrived at a full place just before the kitchen closed after lunch service, but a waiter took our order, and when a table opened up our dishes and drinks came within minutes. The sample dish is good, but immemorable. A bit too many deep fried items perhaps.... More

Great find right on the Ramblas. Calamari was the best, freshly cooked. Authentic fun and good value.

Place is authentic in decor and quality of food. Can't think where some previous comments about processed food came from??? We had a totally different experience and will definately go back!!!

We found the Bodega on a Thursday night, around 930. Although it's small, we enjoyed a a drink in the bar then were taken through to the busy dining room. A great selection - we had 5 of the smaller tapas and the waiter said that would be enough to be getting on with. He was right! Fresh anchovies, octopus,... More

Read good reviews and decided to try it for ourselves but were very disappointed . Food luke warm, not much choice, no coffee or desserts . Tasted slightly like processed food not fresh home cooked . Staff very pleasant and place nice and authentic but definitely wouldn't recommend or return

A dying breed sadly, an authentic bodega serving decent tapas and drinks at reasonable prices. It was quiet being February but I bet it is fantastic fun in busier months. The place is covered wall to walk with sketches and photos of the owner, a true character. Really liked this place

This is a very nice Tapas restaurant. It's very good value for money and where you'll find many of the locals choosing to eat.

This is a great place to have some local food and drinks. It is a smaller place, but completing inviting and really comfortable once inside standing at the bar or seated at a table. The host was friendly and helpful, we had no problems getting a table, food, and drinks. We had 2 of the combo plates and 4 beers... More

Under-advertised with hole-in-wall entrance, this cozy bistro-style restaurant does not try to be something it isn't. The prompt, friendly service offered a simple set of great tapas. Battered squid, sardines, tortilla espanola, stuffed olives, with a glass of crisp White House wine went down a treat. Uncomplicated, fresh, delicious food - reasonably priced. Unsurprisingly, by the time we had eaten... More
