Tasty tapas large portions

We booked a table of 8 people at 8 oclock. 7 of us arrived at 10 past and were b*llocked by the grumpy misery of a proprietor. Thank goodness ,having seated us we were served by a cheery happy and very friendly waiter who succeeded in lifting the atmosphere. We all ordered a different tapas and... read more

Had a selection of tapas here. Very busy restaurant. Suggest getting here early in the evening. Highly recommend La Cueva. Extensive menu.

This is one of the best tapas restaurants in Palma. It is walking distance of the cathedral, one does need book a table especially for over 4 people.

The meal was superb! We went there for a family meal on our last night in the city and the request for a typical Mallorcan experience was met in full! The service, the high quality of the ingredients made this the best culinary experience we enjoyed throughout our time in Palma. I cannot recommend this highly enough and would urge... More

Just had an evening dinner at La Cueva and it really was great. We went at 19.30 before the rush and we had our food within 10 minutes. Some people have commented that it can't be cooked fresh in that time, but when the food is as good as it is, it shouldn't matter. Everything was piping hot and tasted... More

Each time we have visited it's been borderline chaos, and in a good way. This place is busy for a reason, it's good! We have tried a wide range of dishes, ordered more than we have received and never left disappointed. Try the rabbit, the meatballs and the pork chops, all delicious. You could walk past or assume it's a... More

What a place. We read about this in a travel review and thought lets go. We made the trip from Magaluf just to attend. Me and my partner ordered 6 plates and some drinks. This is the real deal. Awesome food. Moules Marinière is top of the list. The bruschetta on arrival was very tasty and set the mouth watering.... More

A very good restaurant serving tapas and offer a daily menu ("platos del dia") with traditional Spanish and local delicacies. We ordered the "platos del dia" but since we were not sure, we asked for "media racion" (half portion) which allowed us to try a few dishes. Service is good, some waiters do speak English but that is no always... More

We visited for lunch after a walk around old Palma. Not been here since September 2008 and it was every bit as good as remembered. Great tapas-style dishes and the house red is an good Faustino. Hoping to go back before another 7 years pass! Excellent place
