I went here before late at night - this time lunch with the family. Very welcoming staff. Had a mixture of tapas followed by some steak. Went for an expensive wine but a cheaper alternative was suggested by the waiter once he knew our taste. Quality of food - great. For a touristy location in the summer a great find... More

After visiting over 10 years which was excellent, we returned in July and was not disappointed. Great service , Great food , Great wine and a very lively atmosphere.

Service came completely without a smile. Food was thrown at us like we were causing some kind of inconvenience. The food wasn't great either, bread solid as a rock and pretty expensive for what we got I think. It's clear they prey on tourists looking for the authentic tapas experience - it looks the part but certainly doesn't play it.... More

Really busy, rustic style restaurant. Very noisy (with conversation) and tables very close together. Service was brisk and perfunctory - dishes kept arriving at pace - probably because there were just 2 waiters covering the whole floor. The food was good - what I consider to be traditional tapas - and the wine good and quite reasonably priced. I took... More

We sat in a bunker like room and had to yell to each other in order to hear over all the other guests. The waiter rushed us to place an order and was not very helpful. I had the entrecôte which was dry and we had some issues with not getting what we wanted because we didn't get time to... More

If your looking for a lively setting and fantastic tapas this is worth a visit. Food is excellent, served fast by knowledgable lively waiting staff. Not a fancy setting and everything seems authentic. One review says its a tourist trap but most of the people when we visited were locals. Highly recommend a visit but booking is essential if you... Bad tapas and bad food in general, good music...... Hard to get a table at 2130 so worth reserving but I would not go again.

We tried to make a reservation but did not manage to reach them by phone. When arriving later the same evening the restaurant was full but we managed to get a seat by the bar. And that was for the best! We were served very fast and could observe the crazy hectic tempo of a Spanish tapas restaurant. What an... More

If you are looking for a nice place with Spanish flair which is authentic La Boveda is the place to go. It is not like a fancy restaurant, but more a relatively simple and relaxed place. You get A good variety of Spanish food and generally a nice atmosphere.

Authentic Spanish tapas in rustic surroundings sat at a wine barrel for a table. Great food and a wonderful atmosphere in Palma old town.
