great tapas

Very good authentic tapas restaurant. Very qualified staff. Great meringue desert. Very spanish decor. Very busy but they took all the effort to make an available table for 5.

I have been coming here for quite bit over a decade and while not as local as it used to be (read taken over by tourists) it's still a great place. Food is almost as good as it used to be. atmosphere is lively and buzzing.

We dropped one late one evening just for some wine and delicious iberico ham, but enjoyed the buzzing atmosphere so much that we decided to come back. We were not let down - oh no!! We enjoyed a long list of varied and delicious tapas dishes. Will in particular remember the mushroom dishes as well as the entrecôte with blue... More

One of the best places to eat in Palma - if not the whole island! Atmospheric, lively and authentic this busy place can get a bit touristy if you time it wrong but that's just because it's so damn good! Best place to sit (as always) is at the bar, or one one of the barrel tables near it. There's... More

what a shame! this tavern was a place i liked to go each time i was in palma, very bysy bodega atmosphere, tapas were and still are excellent. But for some reasons, their prices increased like. 25%!!! victim of their success, they try to take advantage of it. we decided to boycot this place

Always a busy venue. Must reserve especially in high season. Good food and nice atmosphere. Service is quick and friendly. Located in the heart of La Lonja restaurant district. There is a bar area but people normally go straight to their table. Food is fresh and never disappointing. They also have another tapas restaurant just around the corner which is... More

Superb food and atmosphere! Although I like the other La Boveda (taverna) a little bit more - its located just 100 meters from here. Great service and the best of tapas.

Always great to visit La Boveda in the center of Palma, we are never disappointed with the food & service and have been going there for many years. It is always very busy and best to book a table. The food is always extra fresh and lots to choose from on the menu. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to... More

Not having booked, was seated at the bar as the place started filling up at around 9pm. A beer, padron peppers and a very good entrecote washed down with a Pago de Carraovejas crianza were all great. Been coming here for some years and, as has been mentioned by other reviewers, it's good to see familiar faces behind the bar... More

If you really like the mallorcain food, La Boveda is the right place. You get the best pata negra from spain and all the spanish tapas at an affordable price. The pleasure to see your patra negra cut by the same person since 15 years with the same smile is just a pleasure. The sortiment of spanish wine is as... More
