Great food & hospitality

We had lunch at Diwali. Excellent, attentive service, freshly made food, North India style. Never experienced such a creamy sauce of a chicken tikka masala - the secret is home made yoghurt. The same touch of being home describes best the whole experience of visiting this place. If you behave well... read more

For the second time in two weeks they told me to come back after 20 minutes, as they were not ready, although it was within the stated opening hours. Astonishing!

This restaurant seems to be well know, because it was crowded and we didn't expected that the man who was serving could handle so much people by his own. A table next to us was argueing because it took so long because they got their food. The waiter was a bit obtrusive : he brought me the homewine while i... More

Went here on a Groupon voucher for a vegetarian meal. Food was good quality and well spiced (not always the case in Palma) plus we were given a complimentary main course. The manager was very attentive and service was excellent. What sets this apart from may of the Indian restaurants in Palma is the décor and layout of the restaurant,... More

Amazing food and great service, let the waiter choose food for you you won't be disapointed, just be a bit open minded :) The chicken kurma was absolutely delicious, and the waiter very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended!

I hardly ever write a bad review but after visiting this joke of a restaurant I feel that I have to. Indian food is my favourite food to eat- I have eaten in about 100 different Indian restaurants in my life, with none of them being shocking, but this place does not even deserve one star. We chose to visit... More

Came across this place on Groupon and decided to have ago after seeing good reviews on here - wasn't disappointed. Very good food and the owner/waiter was one of the most attentive I have ever known, explaining each dish to us with great care. Their lassi (sweet yoghurt drink) was disappointing but the good chai made up for it. Will... More

It isn't necessary to go into the city to find the best restaurants. The Diwali is not in the most attractive part of the town and is not the most well appointed but if you want good Indian Cuisine in a friendly setting then give it try. We eat Indian regularly at home and this compared very favourably. The service... More

We found this restaurant on the last night of our holiday from previous excellent reviews on Trip Advisor and I'm happy to say we weren't disappointed. The food was beautifully cooked, favoured and spiced to perfection and really delicious. In addition, the owner who served us was delightful - utterly charming and clearly very proud of his cuisine. Great food... More
