Down to earth good value food

Don't often eat Indian food outside of UK, but this was great. The service was excellent with good recommendations. Prices weren't inflated over New Year either. Worth a visit

With its proximity to our hotel and the large number of previous good reviews, the Diwali was a pretty obvious choice for A dinner during our most recent visit to Palma. Situated a little out the city centre, the decor is simple but welcoming. The service was prompt and friendly, and the menu presented a good take on several standard... More

The flavour was there but small portions. To start I had onion bajie, once I had ordered the waiter asked if I would like to change my order to half and half of another dish. For mains I had the chicken tika and there were only about 8 tiny tough pieces of chicken. It was bought out on an antiquated... More

Amazing restaurant with great food and service. If you want to have an amazing national indian dinner with family or your "media naranja" - it´s a good choice. Don´t miss a chance to taste!

Poor quality dips and nan breads were not home made. Likely frozen. Wanted chicken biriani and he convinced me to have chicken bhoona. My wife thought the food was poor.

For the second time in two weeks they told me to come back after 20 minutes, as they were not ready, although it was within the stated opening hours. Astonishing!

We had lunch at Diwali. Excellent, attentive service, freshly made food, North India style. Never experienced such a creamy sauce of a chicken tikka masala - the secret is home made yoghurt. The same touch of being home describes best the whole experience of visiting this place. If you behave well you might be surprised with some nice little treats:)

This restaurant seems to be well know, because it was crowded and we didn't expected that the man who was serving could handle so much people by his own. A table next to us was argueing because it took so long because they got their food. The waiter was a bit obtrusive : he brought me the homewine while i... More

Went here on a Groupon voucher for a vegetarian meal. Food was good quality and well spiced (not always the case in Palma) plus we were given a complimentary main course. The manager was very attentive and service was excellent. What sets this apart from may of the Indian restaurants in Palma is the décor and layout of the restaurant,... More
