Solid bet

Came across this place on Groupon and decided to have ago after seeing good reviews on here - wasn't disappointed. Very good food and the owner/waiter was one of the most attentive I have ever known, explaining each dish to us with great care. Their lassi (sweet yoghurt drink) was disappointing but... read more

The waiter was funny but very present.... And I have had way better Indian food elsewhere in the world. It wasn't too expensive but still...

I hardly ever write a bad review but after visiting this joke of a restaurant I feel that I have to. Indian food is my favourite food to eat- I have eaten in about 100 different Indian restaurants in my life, with none of them being shocking, but this place does not even deserve one star. We chose to visit... More

It isn't necessary to go into the city to find the best restaurants. The Diwali is not in the most attractive part of the town and is not the most well appointed but if you want good Indian Cuisine in a friendly setting then give it try. We eat Indian regularly at home and this compared very favourably. The service... More

We found this restaurant on the last night of our holiday from previous excellent reviews on Trip Advisor and I'm happy to say we weren't disappointed. The food was beautifully cooked, favoured and spiced to perfection and really delicious. In addition, the owner who served us was delightful - utterly charming and clearly very proud of his cuisine. Great food... More

We came across the Diwali when walking back to our hotel after a morning's wander around Palma’s Marina and its old town. Recognizing the Diwali from its many reviews on TA and remembering it to be # 36 or thereabouts of over 1300 restaurants in Palma as reviewed by TA members we decided to give it a try at some... We go to this restaurant very often because it offers typical indian cousine, good prices and a very friendly environment. The decoration is quite old, but the food really tastes like India. Location is not very good too, but it deserves to go there.

Had take-away, and was very surprised that it took more than 70 minutes (vs promised 40 mins) to prepare 5 meals... The bill came to a Euros 86 without any drinks... (the prices on the menu are listes without tax). The food tasted alright, but with meal sizes on the quite small end. It is, however, by far the poor... More
