Simple, friendly tapas restaurant

We enjoyed a really good authentic tapas meal in this small semi-basement restaurant near the cathedral. Service was friendly and helpful. Portions were quite large for tapas - we ordered 5 dishes between us and this was more than enough! House wine was god, basic but good value. Worth seeking out!

Our last night in Palma (and my birthday) and we wanted somewhere nice to eat which wasn't too far from our apartment. We wondered around in the hope that we would find something 'different', and we did. Caracol, tucked away in a side street and in a basement. It was delightful with a lot of character, and the food was... More

Tucked away in the old town, this little restaurant serves fresh simple Spanish food , with a few imaginative twists. It's not as touristy as some in Palma, and the service is charming. A nice room, but quite small, and not surrounded by other options,so I'd advise booking.

Friendly staff, great food, cosy atmosphere. The staff are the most friendly people you can find in Spain. We ate assorted tapas, where each dish was better than the previous one. They explained what we are eating and how to eat it. The interior has so much soul an passion in it that you just don't want to leave the... More

really good food and service, not so easy to find but when you do, it´s Worth it. You get recommendations of the waiter how to order if you like to much or Little less. Very nice interior in old style. So there is much to look at. Buon apetito.

"Lonely Planet" and Tripadvisor reviewers suggested this one to us. A few steps down from the street, the restaurant is a cellar-type room with gothic arches, plaster walls, and timber-supported ceiling, which all feels right for a "taberna" in the Old City. The place was pretty empty when we lunched there on a grey Tuesday in May, which is too... More

Stopped off here for lunch with my mum after we had seen it recommended in one of the tour guide books and we definitely weren't disappointed. The freshly prepared tapas was delicious (and at such good prices) and the atmosphere in there really topped off our meal. The restaurant is tucked away from the main touristy streets of Palma and... My friend and I went pass by chance and decided to go in. The assorted tapas there won't let you be disappointed.

Very well prepared tapas, all fresh and with a touch of innovation , you have to ask the owner (Ritchie) for the daily sprecials. Good relation in price/product. The service might be somewhat slow, however, the food is worth a visit. If the owner feels like, he even opens his private celler-bar. A casual place off the beaten track.
