Traditional venue - local meat....

A long established and very authentic for lovers of great slow cooked lamb, pork and beef in the heart of old Palma. Friendly welcome as previously but sadly the restaurant was very quiet.... Found this place by accident wandering up side street from Ave Jaime III Taken through the building to the courtyard garden tables was a delightful surprise. Shared starters of mixed spanish meats, scrambled eggs with prawns & jamon and pate with carrot sauce were excellent. Steaks with variety of sauces and duck breast with blueberry sauce delicious. That said the... More

A real meat-fest we had the suckling pig - absolutely divine - be warned though, it comes to your table whole on a platter and is presented to you after the waitress duly breaks it up to the sound of crackling (skin) - lovely. Great atmosphere in garden courtyard surroundings.

Very traditional restaurant and a great place to enjoy the typical Majorcan cuisine of roast lamb and suckling pig. Very tasty and filling, large portions. The upstairs dining room, lacked ambience and atmosphere though, so outside is better if weather permits.

We were looking for a place to eat and found this restaurant in a back street just off the Jaime III. We had the chicken and prawns salad and the gazpacho. Both dishes were excellent, the service was friendly and to the point. The bread was warm and tasted absolutely fantastic. All in all a very pleasant surprise and in... More

I think we may have visited here in an earlier life as our feet led us up a little cobbled street to the Asador Tierra Aranda. The cooking smells and the wood burning oven hinted that we had been here many many years earlier. This is Mallorcan cooking at its best. This family run restaurant is full of nooks and... More

Tucked away on a picturesque cobbled street this is a very fine, traditional Mallorcian restaurant housed in a charming, rambling historic building. We had lovely, long lazy Sunday lunch of suckling pig in the traditional dining room which was full of Spanish families enjoying the naturally roasted meats. On a rainy afternoon in March this was just about the perfect... More
