The Fonda is a Restaurant you have to visit. It is very popular. Everybody told me to visit it and it was a great evening. The food is good, the service also. The Restaurant was 10 minutes after opening (7.30pm) packed. So either you place a reservation or you just be on time.

Fonda pepe is a very nice restaurant with a typical feel of Formentera. You can get lovely local food without fuss and the service was very efficient.

Outside nice people watching as from 7 p.m. onwards. Excellent mojitos. Inside simple decor but what a professional, friendly service. And what a great quality of food. Was there 4 times/week to check it all. Tenera, gaspacho, paella de marisco, fish, Formentera desserts, wine. It's just that one magic thing 90% of all restaurants never get: less is more. In... Don't get mislead by everyone that says Fonda Pepe is one of the mythical places to eat in Formentera. It probably was thirty to forty years ago, nowadays is a place selling under-average food (fried boquerones that were too cold to be fried and too big to be boquerones) at prices well above what's worth. Expect to wait at least... More

Fonda Pepe is located right in the middle of San Ferran at the main square in front of Hostal Pepe. The food is okay but nothing to write home about. The atmosphere is nice, and the it's the centre of the city's nightlife. It tends to be quite overcrowded during dinner time, and to be honest, the food is not... More

A very nice location to go and spend some time just in the middle of the town of St. Ferrand. It's very nice staying in the outside drinking a beer and eating tapas. Honestly I expected something more from the tipical spanish restaurant that serves average food, on my opinion.

I was there in the early 70's. I probably would not recognize it now. We loved it back then. Spent many an hour enjoying the drinks etc. Note: I put in October 2012 for the visit as it would not allow me to put in November 1972.

We went to this famous restaurant indicated in all tourist guides with some curiosity, or was a tourist trap and it was really good. Inside the restaurant was really very hot, no air conditioning at all, until it was hard to breathe, it was not easy to eat there. Entries took 35 minutes! the main course 1:19h and we are... More

A legendary place to visit. In the evenings it gets full quickly. The food is good but its a popular place so make sure you get there early to get a table.
