Wonderful lunch

I went in December with my boyfriend and we both thought the food was excellent and the service very attentive. We had the tasting menu and couldn't fault it, also excellent value for money. 8 courses, coffee and wine for only 60 euros! i wasn't keen on the decor, I think it looks too classic... read more

Amazing food. The presentation and subtle flavor combinations were some of the best I've had. We came with a large group for our wedding and everyone who had not been here before said it was one of the best meals they ever had. Including my father who eats in top of the line restaurants around the world. Easily 5 stars.

Checked online for Michelin restaurants and decided on Zaldiaran because of proximity to our hotel. We were happy with our choice as the food and service was excellent. We had the shrimp carpaccio, the steak and the hazelnut souffle. Outstanding service and we would return there any opportunity we get to experience this fine dining.

This is an elegant restaurant situated off of one of the city’s main avenues. The somewhat old fashioned hallway and corridor do not prepare the diner as they enter a dining room replete with contemporary green upholstery and light wood panelling and mirrors. Compared to the a la carte menu, the tasting menu provides much better value as well as... More

The service at this restaurant was impeccable! We decided to try the 8-dish menu, including two desserts, water and a bottle of wine. Both food and wine was very good. Especially the cream of foie, the crispy of mushroom, the roasted lobster and the pineapple colada was a delight. The only complain is that there was to much food (which... More

So fantastic. This was the last of a series of restaurants I enjoyed while in Spain. And wow - the truffled egg dish first course was no doubt the best of the week. Several other dishes were also really great. And - even though it was a friday night, the place was very quiet - which was great for visual... More

It had passed long time from my last visit and I was a bit wondering about the evolution of this food here prior to the visit. I was not dissapointed. It is really one of the best hits in the Basque Country Capital. Service and food are excellent. The chef Gonzalo Anton cooks traditional food in a wonderful modern way.
