A unique surrounding Ikea, which in Basque means little hill, recreates a forest inside. After the reform carried out by Javier Mariscal and Fernando Salas, the oak and other native woods, as well as the limestone, the granite and other unpolished natural materials reveal the grains, the knots, the saw cut .. . All textures have a formal imperfection which is nothing but the mere reflection of the quality of the raw material. You will discover a place that exudes rudeness and sophistication at the same time. Designed to enjoy Just after crossing the threshold, the visitor is immediately transported to a kind of animated forest. Over the tables, lively crabs illuminate and encourage conversations. And, while the food is important, the place helps you feel in harmony. The stone and wood engage in a dialogue that speaks of the natural, the primitive, the authentic... An unforgettable experience For over 30 years, a great dining function is represented in Ikea, where the team led by Inaki Moya, together with a setting like no other, make the restaurant one of the state gastronomic references. His cuisine, innovative, elegant, demanding, tasty and respectful of the product, transmits sensations and creates unforgettable moments.

A memorable meal!

I have recently been to the Ikea restaurant in Vitoria (Alava, Spain) and must say it´s worth dining there. Having heard the restaurant was given the second Repsol “sun”, my wife and I decided to have dinner there. As for the decor, designed by the well-known designer Javier Mariscal, an outstanding feature is the wooden walls which give the dining... More

I took my mother for lunch to this lovely restaurant and we both loved it. We had the tasting Ilazki menu which consisted of 8 mini courses (not too mini fortunately) and we liked them all! For 60 euros per person, I thought it was good value for money. The food was excellent, the price included a nice bottle of... More

Ikea is a beautiful and modern restaurant near the city centre. It was decorated by Javier Mariscal, the designer of the Barcelona '92 olympics mascot. They have a very varied menu a la carte with very interesting choices. And a tasting menu which was our choice, to get a feel for everything the restaurant had to offer. It had two... More

wonderful lunch today in IKEA. The "buey" was recommended, and it was indeed wonderful. I really liked the style of the restaurant and the ambience also. Definitely worth another visit.

looking for a restaurant open on a Monday evening we went for Ikea close to our hotel. The restaurant has a very nice design interior and serves an exellent menu. Hospitality of the staff is very good and even with a set menu water is pored freely. We left very satisfied after a joyful evening.

This is a nice and cozy restaurant close to the citycentre of Vitoria. We didn't booked a table in advance, but this was no problem when arriving at 9 PM as the restaurant was empty. More people showed up, but it was never full. The service was excellent! The dessert, chocolate suflé, was very good! Yum!

We wanted to go to a chef who claimed to have worked at Arzak and... Ikea, But his place was quit out of the way. Which made us Google the last name, expecting of course it to be the furniture giant. But no, a well liked restaurant in Vitoria uses the same name. Vitoria is a city where the Spanish... More

Great food, elaborate but not over elaborate. Stylish interior design, attention to detail, professional & friendly waiters that know the produce and wines. We had 8 courses of mini plates (not too mini) great wines chosen by the waiter. Relaxed 3 hour meal and a great place to visit among the many in this foodie haven.

Wow! What a great treat this turned out to be! Vitoria has many nice restaurants and this is certainly near the top of my list. My Tuesday evening dinner was in an otherwise empty restaurant which makes no sense to me as my experience was fantastic. We over came nicely a language gap as I speak very little Spanish and...
