Great pintxos

The pintxos are really nice, I would say some of the best in the Basque Country and Spain. The fried egg is a must, the potato omelet is very good and the rolls are great. The only setback is the price, which is a bit overpriced, and the service which could be better. Anyway, great place to taste... read more

Visit on Monday 28th December 2015 at night. Pretentious place to serve not only meals, but drinks after hours, etc. Very modern place with a great room for meals. Its combination of high tables with stools and traditional tables creates a friendly atmosphere. Nevertheless, the tables are too close to have privacy enough, and the crockery does not stand with... We had dinner at Sagartoki. The food and cocktails were very good but be ready for steep prices and some pushy waiters who will tempt you to order many dishes. The atmosphere was nice.

One of our last stops on our recent road trip around Spain, we were advised by the Concierge at our Parador that Sagartoki was the best tapas restaurant around. We dutifully hopped into taxis and after a couple of drinks at the Irish pub over the road (I know, not very authentic, but a couple of us were missing their... More

Sadly, this was my first pintxo meal in Basque and was seriously under-whelmed, as well as felt ripped-off. After walking around in the old town area, we decided on (unbeknown to us then) the most expensive bar in VG. . The tiny bites tasted ok, nothing to shout about. After checking out other bars, either we were scammed OR this... More

Utterly delicious. The egg pintxo is like liquid gold. If you stick to the Menu it is extremely filling, delicious and cheap. (I am comparing it to bath prices though).

Sagartoki has a very good reputation in the Basque country. They serve innovative pintxos in a nice and modern-feel setting. It is one of the most expensive bars in Vitoria, but that is sort of justified by the food they serve. In addition, 'expensive' in Spain is still very affordable. The place is always full of locals, so anyone looking... More

Foodies and Tourists!: If you don't want to lose your patient and positive energy with the services in this bar, Go away!! Workers and people in the Basque Country are much more efficient and nice than those who you are going to find in this bar. Don't lost your wonderful time and money here. Look for another place and enjoy... More

I live in Vitoria and I regularly go to this restaurant with family and friends because it's in fact a beautiful place which serves good food. Sadly after recent events and especially after been ripped off there yesterday, I have now decided that I am never going back. There were 5 of us there yesterday and we ordered enough food... More

Used to be much better. You can tell it fell out of favor with the locals because it has always been packed around pintxo time, but lately it is practically empty. So many better options for food in vitoria, and its sad to see a great place go south like this. Went there two days ago and they messed up... More
