Tried this bar on first night due to reviews found on Internet.Wasnt disappointed very enjoyable food. Make sure you try the prawn skewers on brochettes and the crab tarts are amazing.Wash it down with a nice glass of sangria doesn't get much better. Poverty reasonably priced as well.

We went on the basis of the write-up in tripadvisor; when we got there we weren't sure it was the right place given the tacky multi-lingual TV screens setting out the menus. However, the food is truly great and reasonably priced - as others have said, go for the gambas!

Tried this place based on the reviews here, and it didn't disappoint. The food was excellent ... especially the gambas, pork skewer, pulpo, and mushroom in bacon .... all washed down with several glasses of Txaoli. The manger is very friendly, speaks and explains in English (if you need) and takes care of each customer. One of our best meals... More

During a recent trip to Donostia this was an absolute favorite. Loved the Chipiron alla Plancha and the Gambas. The server was great too! Loved everything about this place!

The txipirones (small squid which seem to be grilled in garlic butter with bread) here are shockingly tasty! I would recommend either those or the mambas (prawns), which seem to be very popular too! Try them with a local txakoli (local aperitif-type wine) and you will not be disappointed! The atmosphere is fun and the staff efficient! I plan to... More

Must get the Brocheta de Gamba!!!! Most of the Pintxos bars have the pintxos out on display and everyone browses around. This place is small and quaint has moderate selection of food on display, but they also have a menu. The Brocheta de Gamba is not on display, but it is a MUST HAVE! If you like shrimp, you will... Good pintxos. Their speciality is a prawn skewer you order and have freshly fried and seasoned. Good meat skewers are also available. We also tried some mushrooms and crab. Nice, but failed to make a big impression.

This restaurant did a roaring trade, very small compact bar with fab gambas, lovely red wine & good atmosphere. We went back each of the nights we were there which is a good sign.

Have the prawns and you will be very happy indeed. Have it with a nice refreshing glass of Txakoli and it's a perfect place to go before moving onto the next pintxo bar. Good times!

A simple pintxo (mari juli) but nearly perfect, slice of bread, slice of roasted padron, slice of salmon, a fresh anchovy with a drizzle of tomato garnish was so good not only did I have it several times each visit, but I visited 2/day for several days. I hope it is still there if I can make it back.
