So delicious and juicy with a wonderful garlic sauce on top. The perfect morsel. So good with txakoli. Loved the teeny ledge on the street

Stayed in SS for a week and happened upon this absolute gem on our second last night. We were told by a local guide that when looking for a good pinxos bar, if it was busy and the floor was dirty that means it is a good one and this was no exception. Busy, dirty floor and most people eating... More

My husband and I have been here a couple of times and loved it. Great food, lovely people, and good prices. Can't go wrong.

This is one of the best pintxo bars for prawns in SS, it's their speciality. They also do some great chorizzo and kebabs. Wash it down with a txakoli, the local whit wine, yum.

This was the first tapas we visited with our guide. It is famous for displaying samples of what they will cook freshly for you. Meat, vegetables, seafood and fish. I had the morcilla (black sausage) which was really tasty. Red peppers stuffed with cod and grilled prawns. All perfectly cooked amidst a steady stream of customers coming in eating a... More

We went on the basis of the write-up in tripadvisor; when we got there we weren't sure it was the right place given the tacky multi-lingual TV screens setting out the menus. However, the food is truly great and reasonably priced - as others have said, go for the gambas!

Tried this place based on the reviews here, and it didn't disappoint. The food was excellent ... especially the gambas, pork skewer, pulpo, and mushroom in bacon .... all washed down with several glasses of Txaoli. The manger is very friendly, speaks and explains in English (if you need) and takes care of each customer. One of our best meals... More

During a recent trip to Donostia this was an absolute favorite. Loved the Chipiron alla Plancha and the Gambas. The server was great too! Loved everything about this place!

The txipirones (small squid which seem to be grilled in garlic butter with bread) here are shockingly tasty! I would recommend either those or the mambas (prawns), which seem to be very popular too! Try them with a local txakoli (local aperitif-type wine) and you will not be disappointed! The atmosphere is fun and the staff efficient! I plan to... More
