A bit tourist oriented, but still very good!

With the distinctively colored blue lcd menu(in english as well), there is no doubt that "tourists are very much welcome" here! However, where many other similar places abuse this, this pintxos bar does not compromise on its food! We liked the several fish pintxos and padron peppers. The garlic... read more

We had some very disappointing tapas: the albondigas (meatballs) were tasteless and the mushroom wrapped in bacon wasn't any better as the bacon was overcooked and almost tooth-breaking. It's a small place without a lot of atmosphere. Walk on, there are better places in Donostia!

We were advised by our hotel concierge to start our tapas evening here , this was by far the worst bar we visited . It is small , has a limited amount of pinxtos and the speciality prawn skewer was not particularly good . Walk on and there are so many more great busy bars .

In the old town of San Sebastian, this little pintxos bar is absolutely one of the best. Seafood a la plancha with exotic flavors and wonderful tastes will wow you. The staff is amiable, fun, and always cracking jokes. We had a great experience.

A tiny bar, with an open kitchen so you can see your order being cooked. Prawns and Morcillas are two of the specialities here , but our favourite is the freshly fried green peppers. Also €2.30 for a glass of Alberihno is fantastic value.

We were recommended to this Tapas bar by our B&B host. The Tapas were really delicious. The Gambas de Bruschetta (prawns skewer with bread), Tartaleta de hongos (mushrooms tarts), tartaleta de txangurro (crab tarts), and Caldo de Pescado (Fish Soup) were all great! The small bar was really crowded when we went.

So delicious and juicy with a wonderful garlic sauce on top. The perfect morsel. So good with txakoli. Loved the teeny ledge on the street

Stayed in SS for a week and happened upon this absolute gem on our second last night. We were told by a local guide that when looking for a good pinxos bar, if it was busy and the floor was dirty that means it is a good one and this was no exception. Busy, dirty floor and most people eating... More

My husband and I have been here a couple of times and loved it. Great food, lovely people, and good prices. Can't go wrong.

This is one of the best pintxo bars for prawns in SS, it's their speciality. They also do some great chorizzo and kebabs. Wash it down with a txakoli, the local whit wine, yum.
