Recommended by a local friend. Had plate of grilled anchovies and plate of grilled red mullet. Both perfectly cooked. Excellent olive oil and salt. Very memorable. Better than some of the great seafood restaurants in the world. I would be delighted to dine thete again and recommend it to family and friends.

Service was acceptable but the food was not. My son had a fish dish ( grilled Hake) that had too much garlic and salt so that the fish could not be tasted . 20 eur I had the mussels ( 16 mussels just boiled but no sauce or flavouring ) 14 eur .The only acceptable dish was my daughters deep... Typical tourist trap in prime location on the port next to a dozen or so other similar restaurants. We knew before we sat down what to expect but we were looking for something different than tapas and in a nice spot with a view, some sun and a gentle breeze. You have today for it of course. It was busy... More

Nestled in a little street leading from the Parador in the old walled city, this is a gem of a restaurant! During our trip to northern Spain, we also ate at two of the Michelin starred restaurants in Bilbao (Nerua at the Guggenheim and Zortica) both excellent - Sebastian was just as good. Go there if you can, try the... More

On first arrival, this place seemed lively and busy. Only once we'd sat down and ordered did we realize that the waiters literally running round were not interested in customers. They reminded me of headless chickens, taking 3 of them to set a table. We then watched them bark at customers... "you done?" "you can't have that" "hurry up and... More

We should have known better ... harbourside restaurant, pricey menu but we still didn't expect such indifferent service and such poor value. Indifferent fish soup = 9 euros! and 11 tepid, rubbery mussels for 14 euros - no sauce, no garnish, no fries... a pleasant visit to a lively city spoiled by such a shameless and couldn't care less place

This place has the flavor of a shoreside European restaurant, complete with lively tables of soccer fans, table clothes, and lovers. The fish is really fresh , the service slow at best, but all in all , it really is local color on the harbor in San Sebastian. The bacalao was fantastic and they even had pitchers of sangria which... Simple basement restaurant with good Indian cuisine. Quick and attentive service. Good vegetarian options. If one is looking for Indian food in San Sebastian / Donostia then Indian Palace is worth visiting.
