Sometimes you have experiences where your expectations are truly exceeded - this was such a moment. The artistry and the understanding of food was just breathtaking. Martin is a genius in palate excitement, visual presentation and exquisite cooking. The lunch we had together was one significant ticket on our 'bucket list'. Magnificent !!

Others have articulated how good this restaurant is. Not much to add but strongly advise you to go. It is expensive but worth every eurocent.

From the moment that we arrived for Sunday lunch until we left we felt that we had been exceptionally well looked after and the food was exquisite - fully deserving of its Michelin Star rating. There were a lot of waiting staff who were very attentive but not to the point where we felt that they were oppressive - they... More

We have long been a huge fan of the San Sebastián restaurant scene but for some reason we'd never before come to this restaurant. We saved the best until last! This is the most extraordinary gastronomic experience, from start to finish. We came for lunch, sat outside on the balcony, and had the tasting menu. Service was excellent. I was... More

This being a three-star restaurant, there’s little that I could say that would add to what so many other reviewers have already said. What really impressed us about Martin Berasategui was the overall experience. Everything, from the reservation to the kitchen tour, was a seamless, perfectly orchestrated operation, and I can only commend all the staff for this. We booked... More

Every bite was a joy. Every detail of our experience was thought out. Though other reviews call the service "stiff", I found it kind and sincere. Highlights were the hearts of vegetables, pigeon, rabbit, almond cake, lovely Cava, Vega Sicilia vino tinto. A truly special evening.

This was our big San Sebastien treat and it did not disappoint. Every element was excellent. The set menu is well judged and at the end your are neither exhausted nor satiated by too much food. The food is delicious and well balanced, although a couple of dishes didn't bowl one over with their presentation. However, that was quickly forgiven... More

One of the best restaurant in San Sebastian. Superb in every senses. From appetiser to dessert. Right amount of complexcity, taste and perfect ambience so relaxing. A must for San sebastian. One thing to be improve on some junior staff need more polish and train. Little lack attention to details.
