Amazing bocadillas

We stumbled on this gem of a place and had the best Jamon y queso bocadilla and pimentos de pedron. Best bocadilla I've ever had. So good we had to get another one the following day!!!

We original tried to go to another tapa restaurant but just couldn't get a table there. As such, settled for this one couple blocks away which seems popular. At the end, majority of the dishes we ordered were great. Had a lot of tapas plus drinks for a very enjoyable late lunch.

A friendly and traditonal pintxos bar which we all found ourselves coming back to when we had enough of experimental pintxos, excellent gildas as a classic, named after Rita Hayworth from the film of the name.

We have been here for a few days and gone to several tapas/pintxos to eat. This one has unusual tapas which were different and delicious. There was a white spoon with half and egg and mayonnaise and prawn on it. Then countless other delicious combinations. For 4 drinks and 10 tapas it was 28 euros. Good atmosphere with great food... We stopped in here before the rush crowd and found the service to be friendly and helpful. We tried several pintxos and all were quite fresh and flavorful - many new ones were coming out as we were there. This was our last night in Donostia - San Sebastián or we would have revisited to get a feel for the... More

This Tapas bar looked nice when passing and also has a Resaturant,we decided to opt for the Restaurant but found it very pricey, the starter of Iberian ham(small enough portion) was €20 and we asked for our prawn starter without the shells but they arrived intact, the main course steak was quite small @€24 and the waiter never asked how I would... Stopped here mid afternoon so it was quite quiet. Enjoyed some very tasty Jamon, Jamon croquettes and a Rioja - friendly staff and a quick turnaround. Found the smaller dishes to be better value than the larger entrees, but either way would recommend stopping here!

Took the family here, arrived "early" around 19h30 so got a table and then set forth on a great discovery of their tapas. Truly excellent and very attentive and nice service despite our very limited capacity to speak Spanish.
