Tapas reinterpreted in a modern experimental way!

Modern and puristic interieur is wellcoming you when entering this bar in the centro. Very friendly staff was explaining all the dishes offered as well as what they got on the wine list. The wine offer by the glas was not very substantial, but Ok. Untypical for the basque region the Tapas are not... read more

Went to this bar on the recommendation of the receptionist at the apartment we stayed. Arrived about 7.40am went to take a seat in the dining area and received a stern 'no, no, no only at the bar' with finger waving from a bossy young waitress setting up the tables. Ok the kitchen doesn't start serving food until 8pm -... More

Went here after it was recommended by a local tapas food guide. The bar itself is very cool and contemporary and has a great vibe atmosphere wise. The food was fantastic and I'd recommend the quail and tempura especially. The service however leaves a lot to be desired. Our waitress was bordering on surly and it partly ruined the visit... More

This bar stood high on our wishlist to visit in San Sebastian. And for good reason. The interior feels like a rock n roll bar or motorcycle club hangout. We tried the tasting menu witch is served in the backside. We were overwhelmed with course after course of funny, clever and most of all very tasty pintxo's. Including a miniature... More

These guys have tried to put a modern twist to the traditional pintxos. And you need to give them credits for that ... But they went completely overboard and lost themselves in the process. Everything is pretty pricy. Which would be OK if the quality for this hip bytes was good. But it's not. It's average at very best.

The burger is great but the other pintxos are even better - this place is right in the midst of the tourist hotspot, but the food is worth it - highly recommended.

At this bar if you want to take a seat they only let u do so if you take their tasting menu( 7 different one including 1 dessert! For 35e per person. This is a rip off. Want delicious pintxos go next door or across the alley.

My friend recommend to visit here for just the small burger!! You already saw the picture on the top page. I'm not sure that they use KOBE beef, but it was very tasty and I think it is just for making a good memory ;) There are so many delicious foods other than that◎

Wanted to visit a fuego negro to try their Makobe burger which was tasty unlike their range of Rioja Crianza's. They only had one variety ? not like most Pinxtos bars in the area that have at least three or four ? The rude guy behind the bar looked at me like I was some sort of idiot when I... More

After visiting Arzak the day before, we had ignited our need for more tasting menus, but didn't know where to go that we could still afford! Literally just stumbled into this place and it blew us away when we tried some pintos at the bar, so we booked a table for dinner! Great atmosphere, delicious food (the lambs brain stands... More
