Loved the pintxos here

Tried a quail wing pintxos and also the Kobe burger, both were delicious. It is a little more expensive than other pintxos bars but the food was delicious.

One of the best tapas places in tapas spoiled Donostia. Try the puff-squid-rings on a fork or the excellent fish tartare varieties. They all look and taste great.

Different atmosphere from the usual pintxos bar in San Sebastian, and different food too. Much less traditional atmosphere, more of a bar/nightclub feel. Cool decorations with the name of the bar in film poster style. The Makcobe burger was lovely, the spider crab ice cream not to my taste. I would try it if in San Sebastian, but not my... More

Delicious little kobe beef burgers from heaven! If you pick the right time it won't be too busy. Not a fan of the vermouth olives, spider Crab ice cream or squid ink doughnuts though.

A very very cool Pintxos bar! Get your usual Soanich omelet . Anchovies with olives or get an innovative orange yogurt! This place is worth a good stop! For a snack or plan an evening there! Atmosphere is electric!

A Fuego Negro is a bar that is a bit different to all the rest in San Sebastián, with so many to choose one this one has a cool atmosphere, great friendly staff, mini burgers and roasted quail with carrot purée were amazing. Reggae and soul music and an old school vibe

For a city that serves everything on bread, Fuego Negro plays to their own beat. Super cool tapas bar and restaurant that has great glasses of Tempranillo, awesome music, and very imaginative modern takes on pintxos. We opted for the small tasting menu and our server was super cool with modifications due to allergies. She brought out 5 pintxos to... More

we puzzled our way through some pinxos, and then asked the friendly, happy bartender for recommendations. he'd already provided one of the best red wines we'd tried at a bar. for best meat choice, we had mini-burgers, which were delicious (and tiny). the best fish was a sort of sushi tuna with watermelon, which sounds more precious than it was.... Awfully overpriced. If u don't speak Spanish & Euskara don't bother with the English menu they offer, it doesn't translate enough to understand the ingredients! Advertised as "fancy pitxos". Nothing fancy about it. Locals seem into the place as it was very crowded, but then again I saw a lot of folks just drinking an not ordering any of the... More

We just had a drink here: not very appealing food or staff, and gruff ambiance. It has a nice setting, and big reputation, but prefer others.
