I was looking forward to visit this popular tapas as I had been highly recommended by some friends. Unfortunately we were greeted by some very unfriendly bar staff and from then on, everything else was a massive let down. The food flattered to deceive with it's trendy descriptions but all our dishes ended up being rather bland on arrival. The... More

Unfortunately this place has let the small amount of fame it has received lately go to their heads. We were amazed by how arrogant and unfriendly the staff were on arrival. There was absolutely no excuse as the bar was not busy, so they had plenty of time to look after us but they simply could not be bothered and... More

This was our favourite pintxos bar in San Sebastián. Recommended to us by a local. Loved the artichoke salad (went back just for this!). Hubby loved the mini burgers. The black squid ink doughnuts were interesting. Highly recommended!

If you go to San Sebastian where pintxos are something trully local, you can't miss this Pintxos Bar, best gourmet pintxos ever. Good product, great presentation, nice staff, great taste. The best part the interesting combinations. We've tried the chicken ceviche (you have to taste it), black rabas, olive with vermut, and everything else was just great. The ambiance at... More

Was recommended to try this place by a friend for the Kobe burger. I definitely would go and try it. A bit more expensive that your average pincho, however worth it

Was a feeling a bit under the weather this kind man offered me his seat. Even though the bar was packed got served a Pint of Sangria straight away so all was good. The bar is a little gem hidden in the corner. Bathrooms were very clean.

We tried this place as it was absolutely packed when we walked by on a Saturday afternoon. The pintxos are quite different to the ones you find in the rest of San Sebastian and we liked the quirkiness of some of the dishes but I'm not sure we'd rush back like we would to some other places I've reviewed. We... More

Rick Steves missed the boat on this one. In a town full of great pintos this place was pretentious, overpriced and unfriendly. As a result I can't review their pintos, but they appeared to be an odd assortment of non-standard ingredients. I'm guessing they are a tourist place now riding on Rick's recommendation. By the way there are a dozen... More

It is a different type of Bar with it's modern atmosphere and Pintxos that they are serving. Though tastes are not special , recipts and stylings of the food is very unique . So it worths to visit and experience this Bar.

Rude and arrogant servive. Hipsters have invaded . The only problem is they can't back how hip the restaurant looks and acts. More expensive than the classic pintxo bars and doesn't come close to the quality and genuine service. I lived in San Sebastian for years and I know what Basque chefs are about. This place should be in Brooklyn... More
