Our guide took us here because it's speciality is mushrooms. I do not know how they were cooked but they tasted superb. Again washed down with a bottle of dry white wine who could wish for more. This was a cosy bar with a great atmosphere and the owner was delightful!

A Fuego Negro used to be one of my favourites on regular visits to San Sebastian but it is no longer on my list. It still has the same funky atmosphere but the focus has gone from the food. On my last visit their famous Gildas were no longer served in stylish containers. We were given dirty glasses, expensive wines... More

This bar offers a different type of Pinxto than most others but we enjoyed it very much during our visit. Their little burger dish is an excellent example of their take on the standard pinxto's and all of the dishes are well worthy of a try. One fish dish has ice cream in it, a little usual , my wife... I loved it because its different. Most restaurants in the city have similar pinchos but this restaurant has its own pincho style. They have fish ice cream and things. Reccomended. The best: their hamburgers

We had more than one recommendation to visit this restaurant. A nice atmosphere inside but that was as good as it got. We had the tasting menu for 35 EUR each. The only thing that was nice was the burger. There are much better places in San Sebastian to get better food at a more reasonable price. Avoid!

While vacationing last month with my wife and our friend, we made this one of our pintxo-hopping spots, since we had read about it in many articles of "must go" places. We ordered at the bar, and ate our little plates out on the street at a tiny counter mounted to the wall. We had some local wine, but the... More

Great food and service. The miniburger alone is worth a visit (as widely known for) but to truly discover the greatness of this resturant try several dishes and why not the tasting menu. The waitress we had here was superb with great wine recommendations. The desserts are also worthy of a try. Unfortunately they have discontinued the "crying boy" but... More

Excellent and interesting pintxos. We had t-bone salad with popcorn, mackerel, mini hamburgers, prawn with quail's egg. All were excellent.

This used to be my favourite pintxos bar in San Sebastian. The Makobe burger is still one of my favourite ever dishes but the Basque chicken dish came with uncooked chicken, not a good sign.
