Just guided by instinct, we made a good choice picking up that local restaurant based on his latin / tasty appearance. Good choice of mussels and squids at tiny prices for the area.

This was my favorite pintxos spot in San Sebastián. The mussels are excellent and the house special called the bravas is delicious. Bravas are potatoes with a 2 special sauces, one being spicy. The staff is friendly and are patient with English speaking patrons. We went back multiply times on our trip here.

Mussels are served in 5 different cookings or sauces. Ordered 3 types of those and they tasted fantastic. Never had tried a restaurant with such delicious mussels. The atmosphere is simply basque Spanish because most of the patrons are Spanish. Crowded though but don't be shy to squeeze in yourselves into an eating spot. NB. You stand while eating which... Mejilloneras marina & Vinagreta was amazing!!! love the sauce! the mussels were cooked well with the right amount of seasoning. Not salty at all, and the sauce--so delicious! I pretty much soaked it all into my bread to get every last drop. The calamari was also good; it was fresh, not too salty, not too much battered, no sauce given... More

If you like mussels this is the place for you! You get several choices; mussels in lemon and garlic, mussels in a zesty tomato sauce, mussels in white wine and spices and others. Be sure and have a place of papas bravas (brave potatoes). They have great wines and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend this place in old town.

We went a group of us on this "Pinchos tour" with a guide who took us to several different pinchos bars. I must say that the pinchos culture that combines friends with good (and cheap!) food and drinks was an extraordinary experience. This place was our first pit stop and the food here was delicious and the most memorable of... More

The best food I've experienced in San Sebastain. I go there everytime when I am in San Seb and this place never lets me down. I had to review this place! A great... More

I have been visiting this bar for 11 years and it never ever disappoints.A pint of ice cold Heineken and a "racon" of calamari bravas for £5.50 with unlimited bread thrown in.the best time to visit is around 7 pm in summer when the surfers call in after the beach, the mix of ice cold quality larger and unrivaled fresh...
